What a lovely stay, right in the central of Jakarta. The staffs were very helpful, the room is amazing, and the breakfast buffet is quite nice. Since it was Christmas, they also provided some chocolate house and cookies. It also helped that the hotel has a dedicated parking space, considering that Grand Indonesia is almost always crowded. The hotel has a direct connection to the mall, so it was quite nice being able to explore Grand Indonesia without having to deal with the traffic jam and looking for parking space. One thing I want to mention is that I was amazed at how the shower does not drip after it is turned off. Like, not even one drop. Would be nice to learn how they do that.

Staying at Kempinski never goes wrong. Right from arrival (we drove our own car) they provided exclusive and convenient parking area for hotel guest. Check In was smooth, we come early and room is ready at 2PM (it should be 3PM but they deliver beyond expectations). We had lunch in the mall via connecting alley directly to Grand Indonesia shopping mall. Back to the room, it was perfect, no dust to be seen, abundant mineral water bottle provided (given 4 and asked another 4 but given 6 instead + ice cube bucket) - this is 5 star services 👍. One thing to be excited about staying in Kempinski hotels are the smart toilet that always comforting us, should have one of these at home:). Overall stay was pleasant, breakfast also good, a bit packed but still OK. Food variety also good, as expected from Kempinski. Their Bubur Ayam (chicken porridge) is their signature dish, must try!. The only thing a bit letdown is swimming pool too small. We cancelled our swimming plan since the pool is too small hence very crowded. Some other 5 star hotel in the area given much better pool experience than this. But however we're not here for the pool so it still okay for us. Summary, good stay, good sleep, good room, good breakfast, good interconnecting mall, great service and attitude from the staff. What else to be asked? Thanks Kempinski, we'll surely be back in the future. Oh one more thing. Premium viewing spot from room facing directly to historical Bunderan HI 👍

I came here to celebrate my wedding anniversary. Good time staying there! The food is great, the view is magnificent, and the room is luxurious.
