Had a pleasant stay here. Great location as it is quite close to Kranggan market, Tugu monument, and the legendary Lupis Mbah Satinem. Although the property was modest, service was great and the staffs were really helpful. Prayer set was provided in the room.

The best hotel with affordable price in Yogyakarta. The location in the city center is close to Tugu Yogyakarta, Malioboro and the culinary area and Rama Sakti travel. The check-in and check-out process is very fast. All hotel staff from security, front office, hotel restaurant are very friendly and responsive in serving hotel guests. Wifi is very stable throughout the hotel area. The vehicle parking location is quite adequate. Comfortable rooms, AC is quite cold and a very entertaining smart TV. The bathroom is quite spacious and clean towels are available. The breakfast menu is very tasty and varied. Especially the fried rice menu, pudding and rice kencur turmeric tamarind jamu are very tasty. The simple swimming pool is enough for relaxation. Success to all staff of Khas Tugu Hotel Yogyakarta.

Very strategic place with very affordable price, I booked 9 rooms for our group and everyone was very happy because the service was very good. keep maintaining the quality, typical of Tugu Yogyakarta. and if I go to Kenjogja, I already have another hotel reference. One of them is this hotel. Thank you for the super good service and very hospitality.

At Pesonna Hotel Tugu Yogyakarta, the health and wellbeing of our guests have never been more important. In order to secure just that, we have set up procedures, plans and routines related to COVID 19. We follow to guidelines of our local health authorities and taking all necessary precautionary measures. We create a safe environment for guest as following details: 1. We have been provided with information about COVID 19, management instructions and physical distancing signage. All listed and installed in visible corners in our hotel. 2. We have clear procedures for dealing with guests who experience symptoms to make sure the virus doesn’t spread. We are checking our guests’ body temperature with thermometer gun when guests enter hotel premises and encourage our guests to wash and use sanitizer frequently. We have all contacts numbers of referral local hospitals in case of any further necessary actions. 3. Our hotel has clear procedure to handle COVID 19 by training our staffs well. We instruct our staff to wash their hand frequently, wear face mask, face shield and hand glove. Encourage our staff to have no physical contacts, and keep a minimum of 1.5 meters distance (by installing physical distancing lines in lobby and guest elevator). 4. We strive to provide no less that extraordinary guest experiences, even in this challenging days. We clean and disinfect all of surfaces and rooms multiple times a day with special attention. Safety is our main priority and we’re ready to welcome you as usual.

The location is close to Kranggan Market and Yogyakarta Monument which is the zero point of Yogyakarta, you can exercise by walking or running to Malioboro, exit the lobby, turn right, then right again at the zero point, for the direction to Malioboro, the hotel area is close to the laundry (there are two laundry places nearby), the variety of breakfast menu is very extraordinary, plus there is herbal medicine, really cool, thanks for every very helpful staff.

First impression: The hotel staff was friendly, but on the second day, they were less friendly when I asked the staff for help with my motorbike helmet that got wet in the rain because I didn't get a shaded parking space at the hotel. Regarding the room, it was clean and comfortable, the location is also in the city center, but the hotel facilities are lacking because the swimming pool is not that big, there is no hair dryer in each room, you have to borrow it first and the duration is only one hour.

The bathroom needs a partition, either made of glass or a plastic curtain... Taking a shower gets everyone wet because there's no curtain... Not to mention the fan in the bathroom makes a really loud noise... It disturbs sleep time for the food is very standard... The taste is also haphazard... In front of the egg station there is a stall of outside food, it turns out it also contains omelettes... Even though everywhere else, next to baked potatoes, you should have sausages or red beans... This is just stir-fried long beans from an expensive hotel with food from a food stall...

The hotel is very close to the monument, just a short walk away. It's truly in the heart of the city. It offers a wide variety of delicious culinary delights. Unfortunately, the 1.2m deep pool doesn't have a dedicated children's pool. The breakfast menu doesn't offer much variety; perhaps more could be added.
