The best hotel among a total of 4 hotels that we booked in Makassar for a month. The staff of the front desk, Mas Erwin, is the best, also with Mbak Angel. Instead of being hard to the guest, they provided all complete information and available options for us from the type of room, the upgrade, the booking payment, the extendable, and everything. The condition of the room is exactly the same as from the photos, and the breakfast buffet menu is so delicious and varied. I will definitely come back to this hotel with my husband when we’re in Makassar.

Excellent stay at Melia Makassar. The room was clean and complete. The level benefits were very good and very worth the price. The staffs were polite and friendly but need more training in how to handle frequent un-ideal situation. For me, it is the best balanced price-luxury hotel in Makassar right now.

The breakfast was varied and delicious, but unfortunately, the local Palubasa menu was sold out. Other menu options were still available. The swimming pool has both children's and adult's pools. There are showers in the pool area, along with soap and shampoo. The staff at the pool and gym were also very friendly. The soap and shampoo smelled delicious and were gentle on the skin. Four towels were provided per room. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with views of Makassar. This hotel is highly recommended for enjoying your time in Makassar.

Good hotel and service in Makassar, the room is spacious and clean, but on the first day the linen looked a bit dirty and my sleep was a bit disturbed because it was itchy and the bathroom floor was a bit slippery when it got wet, otherwise it was ok. The wifi was also a bit slow, thank you also to Ms. Sinta who helped check in and service during the stay.
