This place was great! The staff was very friendly and tried their hardest to accommodate our early arrival. While we waited we ate at the bar since the restaurant was full, it’s a very popular place! The food was wonderful, very fresh and tasty. The bartender was super nice and gave us tips about getting to town, it’s a very easy bus ride.
The rooms were large, clean, and had cool, funky layouts. We had two rooms and they were very different so it may depend on what room you get, but we loved both of ours. Highly recommend this place!

We stayed here for a night and it was super cute! The hotel has an old world charm on the outside but modern twist on the inside.
On the bottom floor they have a restaurant/bar. We went for dinner and breakfast and the food was excellent both times!
Check in was a breeze, parking was plenty. Area was walkable.

The room was very big and the bed was so comfortable and huge. The walk to downtown was only about 15 minutes which was very doable!

Friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Great pub/restaurant. Easy/free parking. About 20 mins walk into the town but very straight forward and nice to be slightly outside the hustle and bustle.

Great hotel, 15 to 20 minute walk in the city. Car park just outside so convenient if you're coming by car. Very nicely decorated and we appreciated the coffee machine!

Had a lively restaurant on the first floor that smelled delicious. Did not eat there, so cannot comment on the food. A little confusing on how to actually enter the hotel part of the building. Room was clean and comfortable.

Comfortable, clean rooms with a huge bed! Easy to get the bus right outside the hotel direct to Eyre Square. Lots of parking spaces if you are driving.

I loved my time at the Huntsman. It was just what I needed after walking around Galway all day. The day I arrived they were able to get me a reservation at the restaurant and I had THE BEST experience there. Great food, great drinks and great service. Very safe and very comfortable.

We had a great stay. Our only complaint, at no fault of the staff or property, was that due to the location, it was a bit noisy as traffic passed by during the night. Otherwise it was great!
