The hotel is in a perfect location of buses, the train station, shopping and restaurants. The breakfasts were wonderful and the staff very accommodating. We just loved Lorraine. She is a delight and treated us as family.

Beautiful old hotel with high ceilings, friendly staff and great food! Getting there and parking were problematic; no parking on-site, but they have an arrangement with a garage five doors down.only problem is there was no indication of this, and the hotel address in GPS had us circling the block and trying to drive down non-existant roads on their website map! An indication of the parking garage address would have saved us over an hour of driving around, calling, and getting confusing information.

Undergoing a major remodel so it is not for the handicapped . Stairs just to get the elevator. Remodel should be done by June. Otherwise excellent. Lovely staff, convenient to main shopping area and the train Station

Way over priced in my view considering it’s a tired old hotel in need of a lot of serious updating including the furniture in my opinion. The main front entrance to the hotel is boarded up. They first tried to give us a room that was like a cave! Opened the door to the room to just about total blackness. The view from the room window once we opened it to at least try and get some air (the glass was frosted) was a gross cement wall a few feet across from the window. And water was running down outside the window from somewhere above, and it was loud. Frightening! I’d have left if they hadn’t changed my room. Though they acted like they were doing me a favor switching the room. (Look on the web site and see if there are any rooms showing a blank gross wall just a few feet across from the window. The ad I saw when we booked the room sure didn’t show that. Shame on them.) Breakfast staff was nice once they finally brought us coffee. We would have had coffee in the room, but we were disappointed to find that the pods were only decaf and hot chocolate?

Awkward for parking and drop off. Large stairs to carry luggage and limited room size. Needs some tlc. Reception on 2 floor. No place to drop luggage at front so had to use parking garage and drag luggage up staurs and down the street. For all their inconvenience breakfast should have been included.

Stayed here rolling a business conference and the noise on the street was crazy. Constant noise and I am not a light sleeper at all. The fan in the toilet would wake me up. The hotel is going unglued renovation and the banging starts at 8am on the nose. Nespresso advertised but 4 decaf pods provided. Poor.

This is an old hotel, the toilet was not properly working, no A/C. It is well located, no parking on site but there is a parking nearby.

This is a standard hotel - no comfort and not sure why a 4 star. 1 pillow each, teabags within paper that looked like they were shuffled around the rooms for a year and towels that have been hardened with over use and washing. This is a 3 star and there are better hotels in the city for the same price and some cases a lower price

Lots of restaurants around it. Bus station right across the river so walkable. Tour pickup around the corner. Hotel is a vintage hotel and had no air conditioning. Only one out of 5. I forgot to look closely for that when booking. Could not keep windows open once we went to bed as it was the street noise kept us awake. once we got to our floor we had to walk a distance including up 3-4 steps on our floor as it changed level 3 times. Just a warning for those not able to pick up your bags. Breakfast was good and quick. Servers in the buffet were very friendly. Front desk not so much. Out of 5 hotels on this trip it was our least favourite but location for what we were doing was perfect.
