Ariha Hotel

This feels like a business travelers hotel. It was a pit stop for us on our trip and it served this function well. The breakfast was really nice with a lot of tasty diverse choices.

Cigarette smell in the room Outdated hotel...good if you are nostalgic from de 80’s Staff not friendly with English speaker...very common in Italy too. The pool was really nice and the breakfast was very good and a lot of variety. Ok for one night en route.

Fantastic pool, it was lovely being able to have lunch poolside.

Bathroom deserves renovation.

Budget hotel in serious need of a renovation. The rooms are a reasonable size but you definitely feel like you’ve been transported back to the 80s. My room had an odd food smell in it. I feel like the carpets should have been replaced a long time ago (probably the source of the smell). The washroom was a good size but the shower is designed really poorly with the shower head aimed directed at the shower door. This made it difficult to turn it on without getting sprayed. Breakfast was good and there is a nice outdoor pool. The location is reasonable with several restaurants within walking distance. Overall, not bad for the money.

Was a good location for us as we needed a place to rest on a road trip from Florence to Sicily. Very close to the autostrada. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Well the style of the place is not my cup of tea but that is always a matter of opinion. I imagine some would call it beautiful, I call it “Chintzy Moderne”. What was beautiful was the breakfast with mountains of delicious freshly cut fruit presumably ripened in the Calabrian sun (maybe not the pineapple) and a selection of delightful cheese. Our Italian friends do not do bacon and eggs too well. They try bless them but it is not their forte. The cured meats however were good and of course there was a wide selection of tasty pastries – the croissants even had their own warmer. The automatic coffee maker produced a good coffee. The front office people are courteous, friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable with unusually peculiar angles.

The pool is beautiful, but is available for the public to pay and use. It was often very crowded with teenagers. They also had private functions and hotel guests were not had allowed to use the pool. The staff was very helpful...I don't speak Italian and was travelling with my daughter and one year old granddaughter.

I was in transit using busses. Very confusing to say the least, but the staff were very helpful in sorting it out. The breakfast was very good.

We were visiting Cosenza, the University of Calabria & some small villages in the area & this hotel was conveniently located for our needs we also shot over to Matera which was only 2.5 h away. The hotel is only 35 min from the Lamexia airport. Although a little data the hotel is nice. The staff is helpful & friendly. They serve a fantastic buffet breakfast! Directly across the street is a great casual restaurant with good pasta & pizza.

Wide, clean, and convenient hotel in town area. Breakfast was nice, different kinds of hams and cheese, and breads.

best thing about hotel is the pool and the pizza shop across from the hotel.

Enjoyed a meal in the hotel on a rainy night. Crisp, clean, modern hotel.

Very nice place,The best one we stayed at in years.Up to date Very large rooms,very nice layout for a Family Of 4,The pool was nice and Big with outdoor bar and kept clean,close to The University Of Rende and close to my Family Will stay there again thx

Rented car and drove to hotel, keep your eyes open for the front drive way entrance (small sign)...if you pass it the loop back takes a bit of effort. Great check in, met the person I e-mailed with to make the reservation, elevator up to rooms. Rooms are large, bathrooms are large, shower is grand. This hotel was top of the line 2000 and was decorated to match. This hotel is also a conference center so there may be conference training going on in the training rooms on the first floor. Open bar, with a wink to the front desk, for a glass of wine. Entire hotel celebrates Calabria culture and food. Built in restaurant for nightly dinner....go with a button down shirt and dress pants. Out the front door short walking distance are many causal restaurants, shopping, laundry....nice walkable medium sized city. Quiet hotel, good for sleeping. Wifi and a standing computer and printer are in the lobby. Most of Staff speak moderate International English, be a good tourist and learn some Italian. Watch out for Bank and European Holidays for closings. Many shops close from 12-4pm each day. Dinner starts at 8pm. Brilliant buffet served in the morning.

found room floor had not been vacuumed for days. Hotel response was prompt by sending someone to clean it. We had no blankets but once again got it straight away. No SKY TV. Pool closed but we were allowed to use. Overall room in good condition but not checked before our stay.

Letto basso,bagno senza finesta con aspiratore di notte in funzione fino alle 3....non sapevo il motivo...ma chi era intervenuto mi aveva proposto di cambiare camera ,ma avevo gia preso possesso della camera.
