This hotel is on a side street, very close to the rail station - There is a long flight of 4” terraced steps, but it is not difficult to go down or come back up From the hotel

Best breakfast I've had during my stay in Italy. The fresh fruits & hot chocolate were simply divine. And Emanuel of the front desk was so helpful in giving directions & tips during our stay in Como.

The front staff were amazing. We had a difficult time teaching Como as the trains were on strike and they had extreme weather with lots of flooding. We were very wet when we arrived and they had our rooms ready. We were able to change into dry clothes as soon as we arrived. Great advice on dinner options.

We loved the lovely, quaint, historic hotel. The service was the best and our accommodations were comfortable. We were walking distance to the pier, funicular and restaurants. The hotel was a little tricky to find (better signage would have helped) and the public parking was not convenient, but we know that is often the trade off when staying in the Old Town centers in Europe.

Great place to stay. Staff was great. Easy and walkable to Como San Giovanni train station and to Lake Como.

This hotel had a lovely feel and we were pleased to have a private little outside area attached to our room. The breakfast was good and staff friendly, welcoming and helpful

Calm, cool and convenient for public transport and a wonderfully welcoming staff. We slept well, had a good breakfast and would certainly stay again especially if arriving by train.

The location is near a train station and restaurants near by. The staffs are friendly and breakfast was great!

From checkin to checkout, the Hotel Borgo Antico was the perfect stay. We were happily pleased when buzzed in as it was like stepping into an unexpected sanctuary from the somewhat "blah" street. And a huge plus is that just doors down were two very good restaurants, one a casual pub style with traditional Italian food and the other an enchanting gourmet garden restaurant with great ambiance, food and wine. The Terrace garden is a big plus, a relaxing place to unwind. The entire hotel was immaculate. So impressed at how clean everything was. Our room was on the back side so we had views of beautiful rock formations and it was really quiet. Our bathroom was large and boasted a fantastic shower. The receptionist checking us in took the time to draw on the local map and recommended several restaurants. This place is in walking distance from the Lake Como, the Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta - Duomo. and the funicular and Old Town... all within 30 minutes. Breakfast was included with a coffee bar where you could get tasty specialty coffees (also included). I'd stay here again. It's a fantastic base camp to explore Como.

Lovely boutique hotel. About 5 minute walk from train station and about 5-10 minute walk to main city centre and lake area. Friendly reception staff on check in and very helpful. Very clean room and modern clean bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast had plenty of selection. Would definitely recommend

We liked this hotel. Very convenient location between the train station and the old city of Como on a historical street. We sincerely thank Ilenia and Luca for their hospitality and warm welcome. We also appreciated all the staff and their cordiality. We recommend this hotel to all going to city of Como.

The hotel is a lovely small place on a quiet street, about 10min walk from the train station. 5min walk to the lake and the centre. It is clean and very well mantanined. The bed was comfortable and the shower just great. The staff were amazing! They went out of their way to help you and always with a smile. The breakfast was continental with plenty of choice of cheese and meats, cereal, fresh fruit, croissants etc and even a cute little machine to boil your eggs so they are warm and just as you like them. Thank you Ilenia, Luka and Alessandra for looking after us. We'll definitely stay there again.
