Hotel Capitelli

The "hotel" was, at least in our case, a flat in about 20-30 metres distance. It was very spacious, clean, equipped with a kitchen, the bed very comfortable.

No Wifi and no phone signal. Difficult to communicate unless you go outside

Nice hotel in a quiet area once the cathedral bells have stopped ringing! Should have checked if there wasa lift though, had to carry my heavy case up 4 flights of narrow stairs.

I'm writing to share my experience with this hotel: I drove 5 hours in the afternoon and I arrived at the hotel 90 minutes after the closing time for the check-in and since I was in the car, I couldn't call the property to make the arrangements for a late check-in. When I got to the door, I found two phone numbers and eventually I managed to talk with someone from the hotel (after the first number bounced me to the second). I spoke with the person on the other side of the line, who explained that I was late and I should have called before. True. He offered to come back to the city to open the door for me and give me my room, but at an extra cost of 10€ per hour of delay (which is different from those listed in the confirmation email that I received). The conversation was not at all pleasant and when I asked if it was better for me to find an alternative accommodation, the person said goodbye and ended the conversation. Certainly I should have found a way to contact the hotel ahead of time, and certainly the dismissive and arrogant tone of the hotel person was not appreciated and unnecessary. Fantastic service from a friendly older gentleman. The location was unbeatable and the building itself was charming, just what I was looking for. And old, authentic house on a cobblestone alley minutes from the busiest part of the city. The only problem was that the room was sweltering hot in august with no fan or a/c. Keeping the windows open helped marginally but filled the room with mosquitoes which ate me alive. I was so hot the last night I was there I slept on the bare hardwood floor because it was a few degrees cooler. I didn't complain about any of this I just figured "when in trieste" but I do think that at least a fan should be left in the room. Got terribly little sleep in 3 days, but still enjoyed it.

...on narrow, twisted hill street. Room was large, 4-5 lg windows. large shower, heated drying rack. Absolutely charming neighborhood

The room seemed like it was renovated recently and looked very clean. We had 3 small beds that could be pushed together to make a bigger sized bed. The turn-off for this hotel was its A/C.. They had a portable A/C that worked as well as a fan and yet it dripped water that flooded the floor. It was very difficult to fall asleep even around midnight after a cold shower due to the heat in the room.

Reception area was called Barbacan and off a courtyard plaza area, Hotel Capitelli was a 6 room ancient building next door. Dark narrow hallway above smokers room. Pretty bare bones, bed, chair, table in a very small room. Wifi only worked if you were outside, downstairs by reception. Sheets were clean and fresh towels, but old flower wallpaper, smell of smoke and dark walls made for a place you didn't want to spend any time.

The hotel is in a convenient location. It was easy to get anywhere in Trieste from the hotel. The hotel has breakfast included, and it was just fine. The room was recently renovated, so it looked really nice. The tiny tv didn't seem to work, but we hadn't travelled to Trieste to sit inside and watch tv anyway. It came with an a/c unit, which worked just fine.

La chiave della camera ci e stata lasciata nel cassetto postale ma senza le indicazioni dove si entra, quale porta si deve aprire... Siamo stati costretti a chiamare il servizio aspettando piu di mezz'ora davanti l'hotel verso mezzanotte. Quando e arrivato il ragazzo, gentile, ci ha portato verso la porta giusta ma in una distanza di 10-15 metri dall'ingresso principale dell'albergo (siccome si trattava di un edificio distaccato dall,albergo). Siamo rimasti abbastanza delusi. Tutt'altro - OK!!!

Ottima la location anche se trovare un parcheggio non è facilissimo se si va in macchina almeno non nelle vicinanze... staff molto gentile... camera da letto pulita mentre il bagno Assolutamente no pelì nella doccia e addirittura un cotonfiocchi nel cestino del bagno che evidentemente non era stato svuotato

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut, Lage klasse mitten in der Altstadt. Etwas schwer zu finden, am besten parkt man im Parkhaus und geht ein Stück zu Fuß.

Camera semplice un po' datata ma deludente dal punto di vista del servizio di pulizia. Bagno sporco e con odore di chiuso. La muffa era percepibile a distanza.

Camera molto carina, con parquet e travi a vista, sita in punto caratteristico della città e a due passi dal centro. Receptionist molto cortese, peccato per il proprietario che, avendogli fatto notare che avevo chiesto una matrimoniale e non due letti singoli separati, mi ha detto che era la sua unica soluzione e che se non mi andava bene potevo cercare un’altra sistemazione altrove. Complimenti per l’eleganza

Weekend perfetto , location ottima e gentilezza dei proprietari ottima , se torno a Trieste per lavoro o per svago tornerò a soggiornare presso la vostra struttura. Complimenti, lavorare sodo e bene , paga .

Bellissima ed affascinante città, molto pulita. I ristoranti con ottima cucina e personale accogliente. Di sicuro ritornerò presto.
