Hotel Centro

The hotel is located in a good area near the major sites in the city. For the price is worth it, only complaint is that we hardly saw any staff in the hotel but then again we didn't really have a need for them.

The room was definitely not cleaned. There were markings all over the walls. The mattress was super uncomfortable, felt like we were sleeping on a piece of plywood. The pillows were very thin.we found a “heavier” blanket in a drawer and it smelled like it hadn’t been washed in ages. The host who checked us in was friendly and the location was very central.

Great area, clean safe walk everywhere

Absolutely appalled by this hotel. It was extremely harssel to actually enter the hotel itself. It took ages to someone open the tired front door. After that I went through a metal gate then not knowing where to go after that someone shouted from updates telling me it was on the first floor. Getting up I realised there was no toilet in my room. I would have to share a toilet with other rooms. There was a massive crack on my bedroom wall . It looked quite freighting and made feel like running away from there from the minute I arrived. The bedroom had a strange smell and was giving a flannel sort of like thing to wrap myself to go to sleep. There’s was a lot of external noise and the bed was hard a quite small. I can honestly say this was by far the most horrible and uncomfortable hotel I have ever stayed in my entire life. Dirty and marked walls in the bedroom it gave a me a feel like I was in a prison cell . I do not remember none in a sane state of mind to pay nevertheless to stay in this hotel.

Good location, easy access and the elevator small but great. Good restaurants and walking distance to great choices of venues for shopping and tourism

The room was ver dark and the bathroom had a weird smell which was persistent.

Clean but beds were hard. Other than that, a good area to access all of Florence. Our host was helpful and kind.

L'hôtel est facile à trouver et à moins de 10 minutes de marche de la gare. Très biwn situé. C'etait très propre. Il y a un espace commun où nous trouvons un salon et un endroit où vous pouvez manger. Il y a des assiettes, des ustensiles,des verres ainsi que thé et café à votre disposition. La chambre était propre et spacieuse. Climatisation fonctionne bien. Eau chaude. Nous étions du coté de la rue et malgré qu'il n'y avait pas de bars ouverts et restos, on pouvait entendre les passants jusqu'à environ minuit, mais rien de très bruyant. Il y a des restaurants sur la rue ainsi qu'un épicerie complète juste à la droite de l'hôtel. Le snackbar Anna juste en face de l'hôtel sert d'excellents croissants et sandwichs à un très bon prix. Le seul bémol est le contact avec la réception. J'ai essayé d'écrire à plusieurs reprises avant mon arrivée sur le site d'Hôtels.com, directement à leur adresse courriel et aussi par téléphone et je n'avais jamais de réponse. Ils m'ont seulement écrit le jour avant pour connaître mon heure d'arrivée. C'est mon seul bémol. Possible de laisser les bagages après le check-out, mais dans l'espace commun.

Check in was easy. Hotel is in a great location, so close to Duomo, shopping and great places to eat. There’s a nice coffee shop with a great cappuccino right across the street. We arrived by car, but decided to park in a bigger parking lot fifteen min away. Our room for four people was spacious and it was great to have an air conditioning in a hot July. The room was clean and bathroom was nice. There was some street noice at night, but in no fault of the hotel. Would come back again.

Very central location. 10 minute walk from the Main station and only a 5 minute walk to the Duomo . Florence is very small and walkable . Quirky check in and key arrangements. They give you 4 keys all for different doors in and out . Strange lift arrangements as well and Reception is not manned 24/7 but you can ring for them should you need them . We were disappointed not to find either a safe or a kettle in the room but the price is good f considering the location.

Perfect location in the heart of Florence, offering a chilled solace from the hot weather. Our room had a little balcony which was great for the evening, and the room was very comfy for 2 people exploring the city.

Great location

Location is absolutely wonderful. Very central to everything we needed in our 2 night stay. The room is big enough for our family of 4, but not a lot of extra room. That was no problem, though, since they have a decent sized cafeteria, with all glasses, mugs, utensils, plates, wine bottle opener, etc that we could possibly need. There is only instant coffee provided there, but a large selection of tea. There are 2 additional bathrooms in the common area, which we used to brush teeth while one of us showered in the room. There is also a nice seating area with books in the common area. We were allowed to store our luggage there after checkout until time to head to train station. We felt very safe there. And while we heard street noises, the walls shared between our room and other rooms were soundproof. We would stay there again. Note: You DO need to contact the hotel in advance to give an estimate arrival time. We found this is completely normal in Italy. You will also need to show passports for all guests. Also completely normal in Italy. The receptionist is there normally 8:00am-20:00pm, but she also cleans the rooms, so not always standing at the front. She is around though.

Great location! This hotel gave us easy access to many attractions in Florence and some of the best restaurants were close by. The common area was convenient, had some fresh drinking water and a kettle. The staff at reception could be better - they close at 8pm and when we reached there at 7.50, they had already locked up the elevator and were ready to leave. The elevator inside Centro is not on 8pm-6am - they should really keep that elevator running 24/7.

Clean and comfortable room close to SMN and Duomo. With a supermarket and restaurants just steps away, you can get meals easily! It was also 10min away from Fortezza da Basso.

Great location in the heart of Florence, just a few minutes walk from all the major attractions. Clean room and friendly staff. Would highly recommend
