Stayed at Continental Terme for 2 nights. Lovely, welcoming staff and beautiful pools. Reception staff were really helpful with bus information - bus stop right outside hotel. Took trips into port and Saint Angelo - beautiful. Would recommend this hotel and looking forward to staying here again.

The grounds of the property are amazing and there are so many areas to hang out for the day. The room was spacious, better service around the pool may be good, as when we went up to the bar there was a big line and only 1 bar attendant. Breakfast was thorough but a lot of pastries

Rooms nice and spacious, loved the proximity to all the pools. Hotel feels lije an oasis, full of greenery, flowers, trees heavy with oranges. Need to wear this swimcap in pools, but those are provided for free by the lifeguard. Free parking on other side of hotel, good breakfast (cake!!! Awesome apple strudel the next day), I prefer buffet style....like to go for 2nd capuccino, etc, but no problem, wait staff will being you 2nd one no problem

It has been a while that I had a bad experience with hotels.com. I booked this place because a friend of mine was going there and ask us to join. The place is not a four start hotel. It's old, cracked mirrors and tiles in the room, weird stuff on the bathtub. The front door people are rude, the breakfast was ok but nothing to compare to everything else I've experienced in Ischia. Even the espresso was bad. Some of the stuff member were nice and polite. The main issue was they had a conference during our stay and they put us next to the restaurant and bar. They had late night parties with loud music till 2am. We didn't participate to this so I don't understand why they would put us in the middle of it. They said they couldn't move us cause they were fully booked. Also you pay for everything extra, from towels to using the spa even though it's spa hotel.

We enjoyed a lovely few days here, We were pleasantly surprised with the facilities, our room had a beautiful balcony overlooking the smaller of the pools. The pools were heated and spotless, there was nothing to fault. The outside areas were very clean and well maintained. All areas of the hotel were spotless. The staff on reception were really helpful giving us lots of helpful advice. We were B and B and the breakfasts were plentiful and there was enough choice, although only hot food was scrambled egg. We were told that the dinner food was good. Easy access to Ischia Port by bus from the stop outside (1.50 Euro) and within 20 min walk to the shops in the centre

Amazing stay, lovely large room, kept spotless by friendly maid, nice area to sit outside, thermal tropical pool just upstairs that was beautiful with plants and flowers all around. Many nice pools and grounds, good spa, very reasonable rates. Friendly hotel staff. Location was a little out of the way but there are buses outside the hotel that go everywhere. A. Very relaxing stay, no matter how busy it was it already maintained a sense of calm and there are plenty of places or privacy when sunbathing etc.

I love Ischia, just not this hotel. Customer service was ok, until we asked the concierge to arrange a boat rental, he first quoted $300 then changed to $400 and asked we pay him directly in advance in cash. He was bothered when we asked about the sudden increase in cost & annoyed when we said we didn’t have cash on hand. I think he was trying to pocket some of the $. We were suspicious so we asked to see the boat first, as he had no photos of the boat. We walked to the port and the boat was small and not nice. We found a beautiful boat, twice the size, from a local company and paid less money. The hotel is 20 minutes walk to the port and we didn’t spend much time on the hotel property as it was mostly older couples staying here.

Good hotel with rooms all with little balconies. Clean with good air conditioning. About 1km walk to restaurants and bars and about 2.5 to the port. The spa was great, managed to book in for a back massage the day I arrived. Evening meals were a set of 4 options as many Italians on package deals for dinner. 5 pools to choose from, all in all good hotel, and would stay again. Swim hats in the pools obligatory and are available at the hotel at a charge as are pool towels.

Lovely, clean hotel with several pools - the largest one described as an Olympic pool, it certainly is quite large and clean but not sure about the 'Olympic' label. Friendly and helpful service. It's about a 20 minute walk down to the main port/shopping area - uphill on the way from the town!

1) Cleanliness of my room average. Bath and wash basin not cleaned daily. Although I did not make a remark about it, due to this fact I did not leave a tip at the end like I usually do. 2) Personally, I did not find the Concierge at hotel very helpful. Obtained most of my information from the Tourist Office and/or from the islanders I met! However, most of the other staff in the hotel were very friendly, helpful and polite. 3) Hotel amenities fine. 4) Hotel location good - not too far from the Centre. I walked every day to the Centre and only took the bus for return journey. In my opinion, the other communes too far from Centre - necessitate bus journey each way. 5) Unfortunately, only one Pizzeria/Ristorante next to hotel, if one wants to eat elsewhere rather than at hotel's own restaurant. Having said that, apparently well worth opting for the half-board package at the hotel because more than one guest expressed satisfaction re. quality and choice of food. It would work out much cheaper too that way, rather than just choosing to eat at hotel on the odd occasion. 6) Special remarks: Compared to other 4-star hotels, overall rates cheapest here. Buffet breakfast very good. Variety really adequate to suit all tastes. Admin. staff very willing to change/upgrade room if one is not satisfied, as long as there is availability. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

Lovely, clean hotel with several pools - the largest one described as an Olympic pool, it certainly is quite large and clean but not sure about the 'Olympic' label. Friendly and helpful service. It's about a 20 minute walk down to the main port/shopping area - uphill on the way from the town!

You can find all what you need inside the hotel, but for having dinner outside or go shopping you will need to walk to a more central location, it is not so far but some people may find this a drawback (e.g. families with children, people with mobility problems)

1) Cleanliness of my room average. Bath and wash basin not cleaned daily. Although I did not make a remark about it, due to this fact I did not leave a tip at the end like I usually do. 2) Personally, I did not find the Concierge at hotel very helpful. Obtained most of my information from the Tourist Office and/or from the islanders I met! However, most of the other staff in the hotel were very friendly, helpful and polite. 3) Hotel amenities fine. 4) Hotel location good - not too far from the Centre. I walked every day to the Centre and only took the bus for return journey. In my opinion, the other communes too far from Centre - necessitate bus journey each way. 5) Unfortunately, only one Pizzeria/Ristorante next to hotel, if one wants to eat elsewhere rather than at hotel's own restaurant. Having said that, apparently well worth opting for the half-board package at the hotel because more than one guest expressed satisfaction re. quality and choice of food. It would work out much cheaper too that way, rather than just choosing to eat at hotel on the odd occasion. 6) Special remarks: Compared to other 4-star hotels, overall rates cheapest here. Buffet breakfast very good. Variety really adequate to suit all tastes. Admin. staff very willing to change/upgrade room if one is not satisfied, as long as there is availability. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.
