The staff was really friendly and helpful. Parking was nice and proximity to cafes and makrker store.

Lovely, helpful and willing staff. Decent accommodation with large rooms and a pleasant courtyard garden. The local area has nothing much in terms of bars, restaurants, with a complicated tight network of streets which are difficult to navigate. No city or local area maps on offer. Fully reliant on taxis which were reliable but the costs varied wildly.

Wonderful hotel! We were given a warm welcome by Giovanna. Spacious and clean room, nicely furnished. A green and pleasant garden to relax in was like an oasis of tranquility. The on site parking was a bonus. Owner Alessandro is friendly, helpful and informative - His team worked hard to maintain high standards. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Buongiorno, voglio dedicare qualche minuto a questa recensione che ritengo possa utile a chi mi legge. Questo soggiorno è stato un disastro fin dal primo momento a partire dalle informazioni sul sito che in parte non sono veritiere!! Si trova scritto che l'orario della reception è aperta dalle 08,00 alle 18,00, ma c'è un piccolo dettaglio: la reception non c'è!!! Non si trova mai nessuno e si fa tutto telefonicamente: sposta il vaso e trovi la chiave.....gira l'angolo e trovi quest'altro.....e così via. Colazione a buffet, a pagamento, dalle 08,00 alle 10,00: falso, in struttura è un servizio che non esiste: esci gira l'angolo e trovi un bar....digli che ti mando io........ Le camere sono vecchie, mal arredate e peggio tenute: la pulizia lascia veramente a desiderare. nil colmo poi è stata la domenica quando, al rientro da una giornata in fiera (eravamo li io e un mio collega per lavoro) trovo la camera come l'abbiamo lasciata al mattino. Alla mia richiesta di spiegazioni la signora che mi risponde mi spiega che loro alla domenica non fanno le camere perché è il giorno di riposo della governante!!! NON HO PAROLE. Contestando pesantemente questo disservizio, peraltro ovviamente non è scritto da nessuna parte, alla giustificazione si aggiunge che quel giorno c'era l'allerta meteo.....ma in ogni caso la governante era di riposo..... In una delle due camere all'arrivo nell'armadio troviamo appesa una camicia, probabilmente del precedente ospite. Ma non ho ancora finito....

large rooms and very quiet. All the staff and the owner's were very helpful and friendly. good breakfast each morning. one block away is a market to purchase food items for the refrigerator in the room. taxi to center of town is about 8euros and 10 min. no problem. I will stay here again.

Do not let 1st impression of the location fool you, this is a fantastically friendly hotel. Huge rooms, fantastic bed, wonderful service and perfect price. Well worth the try.

Usædvanlig god service! Vi havde brug for overnatning efter receptionens åbning (fly aflysning). Det gav ingen problemer. Alt blev løst og personalets hjælpsomhed var meget stor! Tak

Camera grandissima, con balcone privato, antibagno con un piccolo frigo e bagno in camera piccolo ma pratico. L’unico piccolo neo è il Wi-Fi che non prende quasi per niente. Dev’essere un problema della stanza 3. Per tutto il resto è stata un’ottima esperienza.

Personnel très accueillant et sympa. Ils seront ravis de nous donner des conseils sur les environs, les visites à faire... grande chambre et climatisation.

If you want to experience the real Sicilian lifestyle, Hotel La Palma is thé place to be. The staff, Massimo, Mario, Carmen and Maria Angela make you feel home from the moment you arrive. They advice you the best touristic and non-touristic (eg fresh daily market in central Catania) places and everything you need they will provide it. Their positivism and smiles make your day a day in paradise. Every night it felt like coming home. To this staff we want to say : Thank you for learning us how to make real Sicilian fish and awesome Bruscetta! Thank you for all your kindness, your honesty, and so many laughters! Thank you for a magical week and showing us the beautiful Sicilian lifestyle! If we come back to Hotel La Palma (which we really hope to do soon) it will be only to see back our dearest Massimo, Mario, Carmen and Maria Angela! We travel a lot but never have seen a staff that works so devoted and with such a big heart! In the meanwhile, we already miss you!

Prenotato on linee su di Expedia moltissimo tempo prima di andarci. Mai ricevuto conferma della prenotazione se fosse andata a buon fine, come fanno tutti gli hotel "normali" Mi chiamano telefonicamente il giorno in cui avrei dovuto soggiornare per chiedere se ci andavo, ma ovviamente dopo aver cercato tempo addietro se l'hotel era confermato o meno senza aver avuto mai una risposto, avevo prenotato da altra parte. Ebbene, si sono trattenuti l'importo della prenotazione dalla carta ed alla mia manifestazione di contrarietà di tale operazione (fatta via mail.....) non ho ottenuto nessuna risposta. D'altronde non rispondo quando prenoti figurati se vuoi indietro i tuoi soldi

Otel şehrin merkezinin dışında, sakin bir mahallede bulunuyor. Eski bir binada bulunan otelde çalışanlar çok nazik ve ilgili. Ancak zaman zaman lisan problemi oluyor. Odalar geniş ve balkonlu. Kahvaltı servisi mükemmel.
