Hotel San Francesco

The Hotel San Francesco is a beautiful property located across the main drive in Maiori from the bay. Our room was large and the bathroom and shower were fantastic. I would suggest a room with view of the Mediterranean Sea on the 3rd floor or higher. The staff are professional and friendly and there are many excellent restaurants in walking distance. The main beach view street in Maiori is absolutely charming and the water taxi service to Amalfi is super fun and runs like clockwork. We highly recommend this property and the location.

The San Francesco is a great property, I recommend the ocean view rooms 3rd floor or above. Our room was large and the bathroom and shower was wonderful. Beds very comfortable . Stayed at 4 hotels different whilst exploring Almalfi coast and this was best night sleep . Great sea view , room modern and clean . Only negative didn’t have coffee facilities in room .

The rooms are great with views of the ocean and nice patio balcony in the room! We had coffee and wine on our balcony starting the first day. The ferry is right by location as well as shops and great restaurants. Wish we could have stayed longer. The staff are friendly and helpful amd go out of their way to help you with anything!

The check in was easy, staff is very attentive, helpful with any questions about the area, friendly. My room was clean and met all of my needs. Definitely recommend Hotel San Francisco if you are staying in Maiori.

Pool was great so was the WiFi The beds were hard felt like sleeping on plying Pillows were too large need flat ones that don’t make your head stiff

We had a junior suite with view, lovely big clean room. The bed very hard and we had trouble sleeping. The breakfast okay the coffee not the best I have had in Italy. The staff at breakfast wonderful. The room could use some little extras like lotion, free water, and the back of the headboard stained and looked dirty.

This hotel is a family owned gem on the Amalfi coast! Super clean room, great breakfast included and the staff was amazing! Beach club and pool across the street were very handy. Would definitely recommend as an option to the pricey hotels in Amalfi and Positano! Loved our stay!

We had a great stay. Loved the balconies, excellent breakfast on nice outdoor terrace and a small bar where you can grab a limoncello to finish out the evening. Easy walking to many restaurants and close walk to the ferries which go up and down Amalfi coast making touring other towns easy. The hotel beach club was nice as well.

Incredible staff - friendly, professional and courteous. Hotel is immaculate. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast outstanding. I highly recommend this establishment.

Such a beautiful stay if you’re wanting to visit the Amalfi Coast. After a lot of research, I discovered Positano was super expensive for accommodation, however, in Maiori, where Hotel San Francesco is, its conveniently located a short ferry ride away from Positano, Amalfi, and Minori, with ferries running throughout the day/early evening. The area itself in Maiori really suprised both myself and my partner, we had little expectations but they were exceeded. It’s got such a nice atmosphere both day and night. The hotel we couldn’t fault, from a warm greeting on arrival, all super helpful staff, truly couldn’t fault them. The room we had was a superior double room with a sea view, which was spotless. The balcony was lovely to relax on at night/ early morning. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of options from eggs, to pastries, fruit etc. We had a 2 night stay, and after a long 3 days of travelling in Rome, we fancied a day of relaxing. We were told we could have access to the pool / beach through their beach club, this was €40 and I believe would be applied to the days you stayed (aka we could have used it for the 2 days stay). This was clean, private and relaxing. Also, lots of lovely restaurants in the area with great atmosphere, so you won’t struggle to find anywhere to eat We will definitely return if we ever re-visit the Amalfi coast 🌊🐠 If the review doesn’t already suggest this, don’t hesitate to book the Hotel San Francesco!

A real family affair. They really did go out of their way to make things the best they could be. Maoiri is a great place to stay however look out for the jelly fish when swimming - they can give you a very nasty rash.

This family hotel was perfect in every way. Not one single person did not run to help us out. Hugs all around when we said goodbye.

Waiter and concierge friendly and helpful, receptionist unfriendly, breakfast ok, you can hear the toilet flush and every single word from next room, would not stay again. Right place for big groups with retired people who cannot hear and see well.
