Hotel Villa Ida

Be extremely careful here!! They attempted to scam me as I left by overcharging me, my view is the guy was attempting to over charge me and steal the difference out of the till. It was only due to my insistence and loud voice that a manager came over and thankfully picked up on his behaviour. I would never stay here again if this guy still works there, despite the place being nice overall.

Great location off the highway. Simple but clean rooms. Courteous and friendly staff. Walking distance to the stores in town.

We enjoyed our stay. Sharka in the restaurant was amazing! So friendly and accommodating!! The pool was nice. This location is really not walkable.

- shower doors jammed can’t close it - no coffee in the room - 2 bath towels for 4 persons. - poor breakfast.

Air conditions was shut off until 3 pm daily

We love staying at Villa Ida. This is our third time. We only wish the hotel would keep the air condition on in the mornings.

Staff was very friendly and available to accommodate our every needs. Hotel owners were always on site to ensure everything was running smoothly and all guests were happy. A very clean and friendly environment that made our trip to Italy very enjoyable.

I wish all hotels were this nice! We were treated like kings and queens. Comfy rooms. Amazing restaurant, everyone was so kind to us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Staying on the weekends is especially nice, and also less expensive!

Quick and easy check in late at night. Looks like it could be a good function venue- the outside is beautiful. Hotel room looked dated- this could be improved. Room was clean and all we wanted was an overnight stay so suited our purpose. Breakfast was a bit disappointing- no eggs or hot meals.

The place was very clean and location was great for me. Walking distance to shops including grocery store. The staff was great and very accommodating. Special thanks to Antonette who accommodated us around the pool area.

The rooms were SO HOT!! The air did not work we had to buy a fan from a store to bring in just to try to manage. The "breakfast" was stale cakes and a toaster that did not work. There was only 1 staff member running the front desk, breakfast, phones etc... so waiting to get a cafe or cappuccino sometimes would take 20-25 minutes until they came back. Tried to make an appointment with the Spa and was told they are closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday and its 30 Euro to use the sauna and hot tub and massages were extra but if you want a massage they are not available. They only have 1 elevator which has a strict 3 person limit or 2 people and 2 luggage so we had to make several trips up and down as we were on the 3rd floor with 4 of us and an 88 year old man who cannot do the stairs. They only give you 1 key to the room so if there are more than 1 of you figure it out because they will not give you another key... also when you leave your room all the electric shuts off so do not plan to let anything charge while you're out and about because it will not work also the air shuts off too the little bit that does come out of the vents. If there is an event there i.e. wedding, dinner etc do not expect anyone to be at the desk or availability to eat because either they tell you there is no room or there is no one around to ask. I know the price is cheaper but its true YOU GET WHAT YOU DO NOT PAY FOR!! Spend the extra couple bucks and stay somewhere else!!

We had issues with this booking but the hotel manager was fair and helped us.

Hotel management was very nice and accomadating. A/c was very poor and didn't cool room effectively...it was 38.5 degrees outside. restaurant was excellent! We would return it they need to solve air conditioning

clean hotel, didn't spend much time there, front desk not very friendly or able to speak English, asked for our Licenses as ID and wanted to keep them??? Breakfast worker was very helpful.
