We were given a room that smelled of smoking, and there was also cigarette smoke in the common hallway. We asked to change the room. Another room on the other side of the hotel did not smell of cigarette smoke. But our hotel room had been converted from a two-room to a one-room, and our room had a door to another room, where someone spent the night behind that door. Everything was very audible, since the door was an interior door and there was a space between the door and the floor below, from which cigarette smoke was coming into our room. Also, the residents of this room started talking early in the morning, and we heard everything. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, in the evening we asked for hot water for tea and they gave it to us for free.

Me and my colleague were in this hotel for 1 night, Dec. 2013. It is pretty new hotel surrounded by shopping mall, cinema etc. Receptionist was very polite, but the girl who serve breakfast and coffee were extremely unkind. Parking and internet are free and we have free breakfast also. Price is reasonable, but if you want rely on GPS, try with latest maps since we couldn't find it on our maps. Anyway hotel is next to the road, so you simply have to find a road.

we spent the night there as a stopover for our trip from Venice to Salzberg Austria. the hotel is not actually in UDINE. we went to UDINE and not being able to speak Italian I could not explain to anyone where we wanted to go. Finally we stopped at a gas station and the gas truck driver that was delivering gas actually understood enough to say that he was driving by there and would pointed out to us. we would still be to this day looking for the hotel if it wasn't for this truck driver. The hotel is in a shopping mall and is relatively new. We checked in and went to our room which was facing the West, it was very warm that day and the room had not been air-conditioned and the room was very hot. We paid to have Internet, but the Internet did not work in our room. They refunded us the amount for the Internet however, the Internet did work in the public areas of the hotel and they did not charge us for it. Breakfast in the morning was okay nothing fancy just lunch meats and cheese in juice and coffee. I suppose for a one night stopover it was better than sleeping in the car.
