This hotel was great. There is in-unit laundry with free laundry detergents. There is also a public bath that is clean and well-maintained. It is close to a station but it is quite far from the central city of Osaka. The area have a lot of local Japanese restaurants. The room itself is quite small but perfect for a solo traveler.

Nice hotel a short walk to the train station and plenty of food and shopping options outside. It is a bit out of the way from the main part of Osaka but you can take the train which is around 10- 15 mins.
I liked the hotel facilities and Onsen with the roof bath tubs.
The hotel was quiet and I slept well.
Negatives, the window was obscured so you couldn't see outside. I am not sure I would have booked this had I have known as it made reading difficult as the lighting was very poor. Also, the sockets were not positioned in a good place as it where you put your pillow. The TV was also positioned at an angle so you couldn't view from the bed. It would have been better if it had been fitted with a tilted bracket. The layout of the room was not great for Japan standards.

The hotel is only 3 minutes away on foot. Very convenient. Free good coffee all day near the front desk, and plenty of space for seating. The roof floor is onsen style large bath. Free for the guests as well.

They only had a smoking room. when the elevator doors opened, i almost got sick form the intense smoke smell. Disgusting. The room was a bit better, but had to gag from the smell.

The property is super easy to find and very convenient to a train station. The staff couldn’t help me with luggage transfer because apparently they are the only hotel who doesn’t do it. Otherwise everything else is great.

Astil is an amazing bargain for what you get. The rooms look like brand new and the amenities and spa (onsen) are over the top.
Juso itself reminds me of Japan in the 70's, but it still has everything you need including a shrine. There's at least 5 notable famous food institutions that people come to Juso for. I came in from Shin-Osaka station and have relatives who live near Takarazuka...so Juso is a perfect mid-point that makes going anywhere super convenient.
There is only 2 washing machines which makes them high in demand. I was able to wash/dry clothes, which made this another reason to stay.
High recommend.

I like their service area on each floor where you can pick your extra pillows, iron, etc. as you need them. I also like the laundry facilities for a very minimal fee. Staff is very helpful as well.
