First Cabin Midousuji - Namba

Better than expected! It’s a 5 star hostel or a 4 star hotel. We had one of the private rooms which was very spacious but smelled funny with the restroom right across the hall. The front desk staff wasn’t the friendliest either.

Room was really spacious, one staff member was rude, toilets were old, only 2 sjowers for about30 women, public bath was always full of gym members, of tea

Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Would recommend to anyone. It's also conveniently right next to Namba station and even has an elevator that goes from the subway level to the building so you don't have to pull your luggage up the stairs.

This place was incredible. Loved the bath and very comfortable beds.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very friendly and the room was perfect size for me. Everything was very clean and well kept. The bath was the highlight of the place, a great way to relax after a long day!

very clean and very spacious for one person, the bed was very comfortable to sleep in ☺️ there’s also a lot of restaurants near by, convenient stores at every corner, the namba station is right next to it as well! would recommend!!

Compact, Convenient

Fantastic location and a really comfortable stay. I felt a bit outcasted to go to the Shower/Onsen as it was also open to members. I understand fully and so wasn’t completely disappointed but the feeling persisted. I decided to just enjoy the shower near my capsule room, which was always in high standards and easy to use. Amenities were great and frequent cleaning from staff ensured a good experience. I felt the check in was a bit cold, unlike my other stays, I felt the attendants were a bit short with me. Checking in was okay but the long stare upon checking out felt like almost to say “leave now.” Rather than “thank you for your stay.” That isn’t a problem, however, it is peak tourist season and naturally that will tire any employee, they may have been having a tough morning. The room was fantastic, I really appreciated the space and table. The bed was comfortable but a bed that size would do with a second pillow. An odd point of putting the main light near the entrance of the room and no alternative next to the bed meant getting out of bed to turn the lights out, yet there was controls to dim 2/3 other lights. I found that strange from a design perspective. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would do it again as a solo traveller. I have recommended First Cabin and upon arrival to Kyoto I realised a First Cabin near my accommodation and I felt as though I wish I booked that instead!

Everything is as advertised, very clean interior. Value for money.

今回は私の事情で鍵付き個室(部屋での音出し可能)の部屋が希望だったので困惑してしまいましたが、このような形式を希望されてる方にはとてもいいと思います。 大浴場のも含め廊下や階段の床もキレイでした。ただ、部屋の取り方が気になります。 連泊２日目は７部屋中2部屋しか埋まってないのに何故か隣同士。 音を気にしすぎて休まれませんでした。 １泊目は埋まってたからいいとして、２泊目のように空いているのなら、端と端で離してほしかったです。スムージーはとても美味しかったです。

Everything up to standard

Great location near Namba Station, Dontonburi and Amerika districts. Close to many convenience stores. Neighborhood felt very safe. We stayed in the family room which was huge. Very useful place to stay!

Ideal location right in the heart of Dontonburi. You can get to the location from the Jamba train station without getting out of the station. Lots of shopping, food and night life options. Has a Sauna and a public bath for men which was awesome. Clean and neat even though the general social area is small and only meant for eating.

Namba was a blast. First cabin was very helpful and welcoming. Plus it is next to a huge shopping station that has all sorts of shops.
