蒲郡駅ではなく、JR三河三谷駅の駅前にあるホテルです。駐車場もあります。蒲郡の海岸観光地である竹島地区へは、蒲郡駅からでも三河三谷駅からでも同じくらいの距離です。蒲郡ラグーナにも近いです。おそらく、以前は立派な観光ホテルであったのではなかったかと想像させます。現在はさびれた雰囲気がありますが、基本的には清潔で不快感はないです。海外からの団体を一時的に宿泊させている日があるようで、日によってかなり混雑しています。三谷地区は温泉地ということで、ホテル最上階に本物の温泉（三谷温泉からのラジウム温泉）があります（温泉税を別途支払う必要があります）。食堂と温泉の窓からの三河湾を望む景色は絶景です。三河三谷駅は快速も停まらない小さな駅ですが、近くにはコンビニ、レストランがあります。JRを利用すれば、蒲郡だけでなく、豊橋や岡崎といった地区にも容易にアクセスできます。

Located in Mikawa-Miya, not bad place to stay for the price. The hotel is little old but my room was large and provided nice breakfast buffet service. Location is great - right behind the Mikawa-Miya train station and some places to eat and convenient store near by.

ホテルで予約確認がとれてなく、16時チェックインなのに、まだお部屋の掃除が終わってないということで30分以上待たされました。大浴場は洗うところが4つあるのにイスが3つしかないので、気をつかって、順番に洗う始末。こんなにひどいホテルは久々でした。
