I was a former teacher in Okinawa, oh how the island has changed!! Nonetheless, I have stayed at other hotels. This was the cheapest and it was very, very nice. I speak a little Japanese, so it was easy for me. My room was always clean and how I loved that massage chair!!! Breakfast was really good, that offers a yummy meal. I loved the Okinawa soba!!! This is my hotel from now on!

Very well-run and convenient hotel in downtown Naha. The hotel is within walking distance to several nearby attractions - Fukushuen Gardens, Naminoue Beach, and Kokusai Dori are all within a 5 to 15 minute walking distance. There are also a few monorail stations nearby and taxis are in and around the hotel constantly, so lots of transportation options. There are a tonne of restaurants nearby as well, offering many different food options, and I have yet to have a bad meal in the area. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, with very attentive and professional staff. They usually have someone at the front desk who can speak a decent level of English, though it always helps to have some Japanese knowledge and/or a translation device. The breakfast buffet is great, with both Japanese and western options. About the only negative thing I have to say is that the hotel is located in the "party district" of Naha, with lots of clubs and bars nearby. The hotel has great soundproofing, so you won't notice any noise, and I never felt unsafe, but the neighbourhood definitely gets "lively" after dark. During previous visits, the touts would only really go after locals and wouldn't even look at you if you were an obvious tourist, but I noticed this year I was getting approached a lot more with offers to go to various clubs and hostess bars. Some of the places are pretty sketchy, so I would recommend staying away. Overall, a very convenient and well-run hotel. Would recommend.

The hotel was okay for its price. If you're a type of person who likes to go clubbing and partying then this is the best place to stay in. You are literally a minute away from the clubs and pubs. Also it is 10 mins away by walk going to kouksai street which is a dhopping street. You can buy pretty much anything in kouksai.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staffs. If you don't need more than "place to sleep", this hotel is super reasonable. Bit far from the nearest station but it's definitely walkable. I don't recommend for the family trip though because neighborhood is full of night clubs and touts.

Stayed there one night before heading out to the Kerama Islands. Fairly central hotel, about 10 minutes walk from the main drag of Kokusai-dōri, but there are similar quality hotels closer to Kokusai-dōri and to the port. A 10 minute walk from the nearest station (Miebashi) on the Yui Rail monorail which was a bit of a drag with luggage in the summer heat. The neighbourhood isn't the classiest; a few dodgy-looking nightclubs and seedy bars, though this didn't cause us any actual problems. Breakfast was provided which was great, though the small breakfast room was way too tiny for the number of guests in the morning. Had to wait 15 minutes before there was space, and then it was a bit of a zoo. Also, despite some floors being marked as non-smoking (we asked for a non-smoking room) this appears to be something widely ignored by the largely Chinese clientèle. Lastly, and typical of many of the hotels we stayed in in Japan, the elevator doors are ferocious! They don't stay open very long and close forcibly even if your body is half way through them at the time. Minor bruising is a possibility.

The hotel changed the cost to park from 500 yen to 1000 yen. My Expedia confirmation showed 500 yen for parking so they honored the confirmation price, which is rare for hotels in Japan. This hotel is also located in a red light district so expect noise from the street, reckless driving from taxi drivers and wannabe Yakuza trying to sell you "professional" services also trying to fight if you deny them. Other than those issues the hotel is the same as any other business hotel in Japan.

For a city hotel at the price and location I thought it was pretty resonable. Staff was very helpful even though there was a bit of a language barrier but they tried to communicate as best as they can. The only thing was that I was traveling with an infant and requested for a crib but they didn't tell me in advance that they couldn't provide us with one.
