A wonderful stay. The morning service at the temple was a profound experience. The introduction to zazen was great, though Japanese speakers will get most out of this - ditto the lecture before morning service. The meals were excellent, and everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. All together, this short stay was a true highlight of my month in Japan. If you’re staying over a Tuesday, you should be aware that (all?) the restaurants in Eiheiji village seem to close on that day. I’m sure the concierge at the hotel will be able to advise on where to get lunch.

Magical place. The Onsen and Meals were Amazing. The Activities are a once in a lifetime. Unfortunately the only view from rooms is buildings, wish there was a garden view or for sitting and soaking in the serenity.

Our stay here was wonderful—the staff, the food, the onsen and of course the arrangement of the temple activities. If you are going to Eihiji I highly recommend a stay here.

部屋数が少ないのでお風呂も貸切状態でゆったりつかれました洗い場もとても綺麗でお風呂全体が白檀のかおりがひろがっていて癒やされました宿の廊下も良い香りがします精進料理がとても美味しかったです野菜嫌いな夫が完食したのにはびっくりです人気の宿に泊まれて幸運でした

客室、大浴場、その他館内施設全て機能的で清潔に維持管理されています。スタッフのホスピタリティ溢れる対応、レストランで提供される夕食、朝食の宿坊に相応しい地産の食材を使用した精進料理、どれをとっても最高の滞在ができました。又、永平寺における坐禅体験、朝のお勤めと貴重な体験が出来ることも当館をお勧めする大きなポイントです。機会があれば、又訪れたいと思います。

２泊させていただきましたが、４食の食事がどれも美味しくボリュームもあって大満足でした。永平寺への参拝が主目的で選んだ宿でしたが、次回は柏樹關さんに宿泊することを目的に伺いたいです。

清潔感あふれるお宿と、丁寧な気配りをしてくださるスタッフの方のおかげで、心穏やかに過ごすことができました。私たちが2泊することを知ってくださっていたようで、朝食後に食事処のスタッフの方が「今晩もお待ちしております」と声をかけてくださり、嬉しく思いました。また、朝のおつとめに参加させていただくという、とても貴重な体験もでき、有意義な時間を過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました！

永平寺と連携している(？)ホテルのようで、受付にも徳の高そうなお坊様がいらっしゃいました。ホテルはとてもキレイで静か、さらに精進料理がとても美味しかったです。ホテルの前には小川が流れており、とても雰囲気の良い立地でした。
