Hali Hali House and the hosts hold a special place in my heart after just a two night stay. The bus stops conveniently down the road and upon arrival in the lush manicured garden I was greeted by the gracious hosts and shown the property. Despite the language barrier, she was very patient with me and it was a non issue to understand each other. I chose the tatami room for a traditional experience and I am very pleased with the accommodations. I had the best sleep I’ve had in such a long time. The bathroom was very clean and I enjoyed the japanese style shower although there is an option to use the tub. Breakfast was served each day and was extraordinarily delicious. I tried many new fruits and vegetables and really enjoyed them all. This location is very unique and just a great value overall. When I return to Ishigaki with my family I would absolutely set up home base here.

A really lovely homestay, significantly different to how we normally travel, but a real pleasure. I normally don’t eat breakfast but made sure I enjoyed the Okinawan breakfast in the garden every day between 8-9am. Not to everyone’s taste, but delicious to me. It’s close to a bus route that goes into Ishigaki town and north to Kabira Bay. Buses aren’t frequent but are on time and taxis are available too.

The staff was very kind, the outside space such as the yard is beautiful, the room was very clean. Breakfast was included, and it was delicious and beautiful. Everything was excellent, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

I had a great stay at this B&B only a few minutes drive from Ishigaki town. The couple running this property could have not been nicer or more welcoming. I stayed 4 nights and the freshly prepared Okinawan breakfast every morning was amazing and totally different each day. You stay in the same building as the owners and their well behaved pets - one small dog and three cats. The rooms are large and sharing a bathroom was not an issue. The beach and coral reef are only a few minutes walk away and a great place to watch the sunsets.

The owners are incredibly nice and breakfast is amazing! The cat and dog (Tama and Hali) are cute and friendly and fun to play with. It's also right next to the ocean, and near a bus stop. A really good place to stay!

The location is excellent if you want to get away from the crowds but still be close enough to enjoy everything. The husband and wife couple were beyond GREAT! They went out of there way to make sure we had everything we needed, offering to wake up early to make us breakfast, as we had to leave early for a day trip. Hali Hali House is perfect if you have children as there is a large yard and deck for them to play, Hali the couple’s dog is really friendly and playful, and it is within walking distance to a beach and pool area great for kids. There is also a great Gelatto place just down the road with a great view of the ocean.

石垣島に行った際には必ず宿泊させていただいています。 ご夫婦のお人柄に癒されて、わんちゃんネコチャンとても可愛くて、朝食がとにかく美味しく、そして居心地も良い、素敵な宿です。 サガリバナやブーゲンビリアなど花も多く、庭を眺めているだけでリラックスできる空間です。 今回は朝早く起きて前のビーチを散歩していたらウミガメを見ることが出来ました！

5/8から2泊させて頂きました。気さくに接して下さるオーナーご家族（ご夫妻と看板ワンちゃんとネコちゃん達）、フサキビーチ至近の静かな環境、そして石垣島の地元食材をふんだんに使った朝食を素敵なお庭に面したウッドデッキでゆったりと頂けることなど最高でした。何でも揃った至れり尽くせりではありませんが、ただ庭を眺め風の音などをボーッと座って聴いていることが何よりの贅沢だと感じさせてくれる素敵なお宿でした。また再訪させて頂きたいと強く思います。

初めてのゲストハウスでしたが、気さくなオーナーさんと看板犬で人懐っこいはりお君が迎えてくれました。 テレビ等はなく、自室でゆっくり過ごせます。 夕食はレンタカーで街に出て、スーパーで地のものを買ってきてリビングでゆっくり食べました。 すぐ横の道からビーチにも出ることができ、夕日のスポットのためか、ウェディングの撮影が2組行われていました。 お風呂が共同のため、他の宿泊者さんのことも考えさっさとシャワーで済ませたので、お風呂でのんびりはできませんでした。 暗くなってから、星を見に庭に出てみて、オーナーさんにいろいろ情報をいただきました。 教えてもらった通り、消灯してから夜中にランタンを持参してまた庭に出て星を見ました。カメラに納められないのがもったいないほど星が出ていて感動しました。 朝食は宿泊者さん同時にデッキでいただきますが、オーナーさん手作りの各品がほんとにおいしい！すべて石垣の食材とのこと。味付けも優しく、健康になりそうです。 チェックアウト後も最後に海を見に行ってから後にしました。満足なお宿でした！
