Honjin Sakura-tei

Lovely stay in small outfit. Japanese style futon beds was a new experience but a little hard. Service was excellent as was the breakfast and dinners. Conveniently located 5 mins from echigoyuzawa station. Aside from hourly shuttle provided by hotel, the ski rental shops do provide complementary pickup and drop off; in addition to the inter-resort buses which operate from the station.

Lobby is upgraded and welcoming, location 5 mins walk to station. Most of the rooms seems to have been upgraded except those on level 5 which we are staying. Room too cramp for 4 adults and is dusty and old. Food is great and Onsen toiletries can be improve.

great location as it is next to Echigo Yuzawa JR train station, and the hotel also provided free shuttle bus to fetch us from hotel to station after check out. The dinner menu was great for the hotel rate we paid. The outdoor onsen, even though small, is still hot enough despite it being winter.

Very nice food. Only a few minutes walk from the train station. Polite staff. Only down side is there is no showers in the rooms. Only public bathroom

Location is very near to the Echigo-Yuzawa train station. The check-in was pretty much straight-forward, the staffs understand simple English which is good enough. As for the room, it is clean and well-equipped with all the needs. I didn't take notice when I booked the tatami room that it has no en-suite bathroom but all's good since the onsen is conveniently located on the ground floor and is not crowded. What I love most about this hotel is they provide breakfast and dinner too, that's what we needed because it can get really chilly at night to explore the neighbourhood. Rental of ski gear is available and they provide shuttle bus to 3 different ski resorts. Overall was a very good stay.

Nice helpful people. They don't know much about the free shuttle buses besides their own so look it up yourself and all will be well. They will ask if you want your room cleaned- say yes!

โรงแรมตั้งอยู่ใกล้สถานีรถไฟ ในเมืองที่สวยงามมาก โดยเฉพาะเมื่อยามหิมะปกคลุมไปทั้งเมือง อากาศจะเย็นมาก ทำให้การแช่ออนเซนมีความสุขจริงๆ อยากจะกลับมาอีกสักครั้ง

Nice onsen hotel near GALA with great breakfast and dinner.

We have an enjoyable stay with the hotel! Walking distance to the train station and quite a number of eating places around it. We have booked one of the biggest room the hotel has and it was spacious with Japanese touch. The onsen was great too. We will like to thanks Yamamoto San for his kind assistant throughout our stay.

Easy walk from the train station. The check-in area was to the back left of the first floor rather than right in the front. Hotel staff spoke little English but were accommodating. We arrived early, were shown lockers to store our large suitcases, got dressed, caught the hotel shuttle and went skiing/snowboarding. Got back at 5:00 and checked in. The room was nostalgic. The futon and down comforters were great! The onsen was a surprise. Tthere were three pools for women and two for men. Bringing along snow grips for your shoes if you plan to eat out. Wifi was a bit slow, but ok. The breakfast that was included in our plan was very good. We would definitely stay here again. :)

駅近で、雪の日も不便なくホテルまで行くことができます。 ホテルはスタッフの皆さんがとても親切でお食事もとても美味しいです。 何度もリピートしています。

非常舒適，房間大，浴場整潔，服務不錯，旁邊就是鐵路站，晚餐豐富，值得一試。自駕有免費泊車，有免費接駁巴士到周邊滑雪場，但不包苗場滑雪場。

就在鐵路站旁，有免費停車，不論自駕還是坐公共交通也十分便利。但留意這酒店距離苗場滑雪場駕車需要30分鐘，酒店沒有免費接駁巴士的。但在Hotel.com中搜尋時顯示苗場附近，這一點大家要注意，但其實酒店旁也有多個滑雪場的，並有免費接駁服務。如果會進行夜滑就不要預約晚餐，因為晚餐只到7:20pm,酒店晚餐非常豐富及美味，值得一試。日式房間沒有浴室，只有坐廁，需要到公眾浴場淋浴加浸溫泉。整體也會好，值得推介。重點自駕朋友留意，由東京市前來，到達新瀉後，請轉用手機Google導航，這樣準確很多，因為車內導航並不準確，害我們找了幾回才成功到達。酒店有兩個入口。鐵路旁的入口較為隱蔽，自家人士很容易錯過。

가이세키 요리도 넘 맛있었고 온천욕도 좋았습니다! 후기에 방안에 별도의 샤워시설이 없다고 걱정했는데 온천욕을 하고 나니 따로 샤워할 필요가 없었던것 같고 화장실이나 세면대가 있어서 크게 불편하진 않았습니다 역에서 가깝지만 아이와 함께 온가족이 캐리어를 끌고 가기에는 좀 거리가 있어서 편하게 무료 셔틀을 이용했습니다 료칸자체가 크거나 새시설은 아니지만 가격대비 전반적으로 좋은 숙박이었다고 생각합니다

某有名グループの立ち上げにも関わったことがあるので、目線や意見は厳しいのはご容赦下さい。 入浴のタイミングを間違えて入浴作法が判らない海外の方達に入浴後だと、シャワーや風呂桶等はめちゃくちゃにされ、台風一家の様な有様はあったが… お風呂自体はとても良い。 ご飯がとにかく美味しい。 出汁が丁寧で、雑味もなく、香りも良い。 素材の使い方や調理温度がとにかく素晴らしく、香りの生かし方の潰し方が随所に感じられる。 口に入れた時の舌触りや歯触りがとても心地よい丁寧な仕事がされている。 特に[車麩と海老のしんじょう]と[人参の炊き物]は絶品としか言いようがない程の食感と完成度。 米は魚沼産のコシヒカリだが、独特の香りが少し失われて水っぽく、残念。 手元の小さな羽釜で炊くのは、見た目には嬉しいが味には懸念が残る。 出来る事ならば… 食事処にて、大きな羽釜を使い2〜3升以上の量をその場で炊いた魚沼産のコシヒカリをおひつでテーブル毎に食することが出来たなら… 独特の香りと素晴らしい甘味と食感で至福の時を味わえたに違いない。 赤出しは出汁の香りにこだわりすぎたのか、赤味噌の香りが弱すぎて残念。 サービスについては、ちょっとした言葉遣いや細部を個人の能力に任してしまっているのがとても残念。 料理の提供についてもホテルの新人研修程度の知識レベルのためか、サービスとして伴っていない様に思える。 教育とシステム、情報共有に難があるのか、準備不足があり、現場が少し混乱してしまい、安直な対応をしている様に見受けられる。 宿泊設備は古いので、導線はダメ。 配管設備や水回りが古いので旅行気分は下がる。 敷布団は身体が痛くなる程粗末。 まずは限られた資金を食事と風呂に集約した様に見受けられる。 食事と風呂だけは格別に良い。 しかしながらそれを補って尚余る程の[一生懸命な気持ち]が伝わってくる。 日々修正と改良を重ねていく事が期待できる旅館なので、また来年も行くことを決めました。 楽しみにしています。
