My wife recommended this hotel to me after two stays — and she was right! This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in in Japan: wonderful views of the Nagara river and the neighbouring mountain of Kinkazan; superbly comfortable room; courteous, professional staff; and a very tasty breakfast. I am already looking forward to my next visit — with my wife, this time!

Location, staff and facilites all excellent. Stayed in Japanese style room, only downside for me was matress was little thin as not used to slwwping on a hard floor. Would definitely stay again.

NO TATTOOS. Is the first sign you see when checking in. Perhaps if you have a small discrete tattoo, they will still permit you to use their hot-baths on site. Ideal for couples, seniors, less so for families with children. The beds were quite hard. The in-room food service was very good, as was the breakfast buffet. Both indoor and outdoor onsen was very nice, with the outdoor one having a nice view of Gifu Castle.

岐阜市に住んでいますが、自分へのご褒美で年に一回は利用させていただいています。これで４回目ですが、何度行っても満足できます。岐阜城と星を眺めながらの露天風呂は癒されます。老舗なので建物は古いですが、旅館の中はとても清潔感があります。朝ごはんは、しらすと明太子、朴葉味噌がお気に入りです。
