Hotel Shigira Mirage

The property was beautiful, but a bit rundown. The accommodations are old. The staff is very nice, but not super accommodating, at least for American standards. The property requires some updates.

I'm going to have such a good memory for 5 days I liked the swimming pool and restaurant because it was clean Above all, the staff were always smiling and welcoming, and they responded kindly I enjoyed it so much

The resort is fairly large with many options for food. However reservations are recommended as some of the higher demand restaurants may not be able to accommodate. There is no room service, so guests should be proactive when it comes to meals. The quality of service meets and exceeds expectations and while not all staff speak English, there are incredibly patient and will help you get what you need. Spa, car rental, and transportation services to and from the airport and within the resort are available to get around. Amazing snorkeling and water activities right off the beach.

호텔에 4시에 도착했는데 3층 건물 에어컨 환풍구를 마주한 방배정을 해주어. 추가 요금을 내고 방을 옮겼습니다. 좋은 방을 교정받으려고 일찍 호텔에 도착한 건데 이렇게 하면 아무 소용이 없는 것 같습니다

The location was excellent and property well maintained.

父の喜寿と自分の結婚10周年のお祝いに3世代、家族でジュニアスイートを3部屋5泊で滞在し、こんなに沢山のお金を使った事が後悔でなりません。 ナイトプールでは、暗くてソファが濡れている事を知らずにタオルを置いてしまい、プールから上がったら、タオルがベタベタで、私も小さな子供達もブルブル震えていたので、乾いたタオルをお願いしたら、1人一枚ですので！と何とも冷たく意地悪なスタッフ。だったら、タオル番のブースで3人ガヤガヤ喋ってないで、ソファくらい拭いて置いて下さい。そして更に、私達に、他の人が使っていたタオルを持って来て、これ片付けて〜と！びっくりショックで固まりましたが、他の女性が、使っていましたよ、と伝えたら、謝罪もなく消えて行きました。 このホテルなら年老いた父もゆっくり寛げるだろうと期待していたら、5泊も連泊したのに、ハウスキーピングが夕方になっても終わっておらず、ロビーで横になれるわけでもなく、居場所がなく、本当に疲れ切ってかわいそうでした。しかも、毎泊同料金なのに、シーツは変えていない、アメニティも新しい物をくれず、かなり、節約しようというのが分かりました。 洋朝食レストランのスタッフも酷く冷たいです。 台風が近づいて、復路便欠航ねな際の相談をしても、どなたにも突き放された感じです。 スタッフの皆さん、嫌々お仕事をしていらっしゃるのが分かりました。こんなに楽しみにしていて、大金をはたいて、悲しくて部屋で泣いてしまいました。 父ももう二度と来たくないと言っていて、私達も初めての宮古島が酷い印象で終わってしまいました。このホテルにしなければ良かった。悔やまれてなりません。お金を返して。悲しいです。

Went there for my father's 80th birthday. The stay was excellent. A few things I'd like to say to improve the experiences are 1 - they should have hotel concierge. At the front desk or bell desk, I was never sure who to ask or sometime there was no one around to request services or ask questions. When I called the front desk, the call was usually not answered or waited many rings. 2nd thing - maybe you can emphasise how you are keeping the beautiful Miyako's nature and environment. I did not get that impression that you enforcing that for guests or as the hotel policy.

シギラミラージュは新しくて、お部屋も広く綺麗で快適でした。宿泊代金は高めですが、敷地内のレストランはホテルにしては比較的良心的な価格でした。わざわざ市街地へ出向かなくても敷地内は送迎して貰えるので助かりました。

2人の2周年記念に一足早くluxury hotelの滞在でした。クリスマスで料金は値上がりしていましたが、全てにおいて大変満足の行く滞在となりました。お高くてもシギラミラージュが宮古島No.1と言われる理由納得です。12/25のクリスマスディナーは大変混み合っていて予約時間をずらすのは大変難しいと言われましたが、レセプションデスクの女性がなんとか都合をつけて下さり、クリスマスディナーを早めに取ることが出来、しかもラグーンの目の前の席まで用意してくれました！お陰でチャペルでのクリスマスライブも楽しむ事が出来、南国宮古島でのクリスマスでしたが、クリスマス好きのスウェーデン人のパートナーもクリスマス気分を盛り上げてくれたイベントににんまり。ホテル側の計らいで予約枠の中でも1番の部屋をご用意頂き、上から眺める美しい海とビーチに毎日感動しながら朝・晩とバルコニーのジャグジーを2人で楽しみました。タートルベイでのフリーフローchampagne付きの朝食にもにんまり。タートルベイはクリスマスイブのディナーも堪能しました。朝・夕シェフの確かな腕前堪能しまたした。朝食時に亀に餌をあげられるのもいいですね。素敵な思い出となりました。有難う御座いました。

毎日シーツは交換されていました。 飲み物はオリオンビールとさんぴん茶、お水が毎日追加されており、充分な量でした。 食事は事前に予約をしておいたのでスムーズでしたが宿泊者が多かったのか当日の時間変更は不可でした。 アラマンダ内のレストランでは密を気にされて席移動を申し出されてるいる方がいたので気になる方は今後もいるのかなと思います。 ベランダからの眺めや広さなどとても良かったのですが目の前で工事中だったことがとても残念でした。 父の快気祝いで宿泊し決して安くはないので連絡をいただけたらこちらも別の部屋やホテルを検討していました。

マニュアルをこなそうとある意味新鮮ではあるが機転が利かない。チェックインは時間かかりすぎ、ルーム清掃は不要と伝えていたにも関わらず、しっかりと清掃されていました。客の要望に応えられていない。朝食は満足感がありますが会場の動線が一部悪すぎる。隣室ベランダのプライバシー確保は不十分です。総合的に決して悪くはありませんがもう少し頑張ってほしい。

A centrally located part of the Shigira Seven Mile Resort, the Hotel Shigira Mirage serves up excellent Japanese service and high quality food in a semi-tropical surrounding a five minute walk to the beach. Beach itself is protected from the open ocean so was very tranquil while I was there, shallow and suitable for wading or snorkeling. The dive shop also does an Experience Scuba program for Japanese-speaking beginners. PADI or other diving license holders looking for more challenging fare need to contact external providers. Nicest beaches on island are a 15-30 drive away. Hotel itself has a restaurant (divided into teppanyaki, hot pot, steak and tempura specialty sections and a separate bar/lounge. There are other restaurants in the resort. All are open or closed based on number of guests/Corona situation) (April 2021). Rooms are spacious and well-maintained, likely built or renovated a few years ago. For example, our standard room has two large flat screens (which is nice), but neither are internet capable so you are stuck watching Japanese tv unless you’ve brought a Chromecast or AppleTV. I speak Japanese so can’t comment on staff English level. The wider resort contains a golf course as well as other hotels at different price points (some are super luxury, some are older Bubble Era mass market properties) that are accessible by shuttle bus, golf cart rental, or on foot.

This is a very beautiful piece of propoerty but for the price we had to pay and the restaurants, excursions and things that were closed was veery disappointing. They property has an overwhelming number of restaurtants 23 to be exact but only 9 were open during our stay. Paying that much money and having few little options didnt think is fair to the guest. As for the beach, we couldnt rent kayaks, they didnt offer any food service at the beach and bar was closed. How can you go to a Beach resort and not have beach services. On Monday, they close the outdoor onsen and gym? I hope this message finds the general manager. I paid nearly 700,000yen for my overall stay and it wasnt worth it or even a trip back.

値段は高すぎ！部屋の掃除もすごくおそい！昼に出かけて帰ってきても１８時になっても掃除してない！フロントに言うとすぐ来た！２日続けてその時間に来た

Japanese breakfast was perfect. Reception, restaurant, lounge and housekeeping Staff are well-trained. World class!
