Hotel is a bit tired but rooms are big, traditional beds may not suit westerners after a days skiing. We stayed out of the ski season while driving around Japan for one night, good price and easy to find. Hotel was empty so it felt like being in the shinning (film reference). Great if you are planning a trip to see the snow monkeys which is an absolute must!!!!!!!!!!

竜王スキーパークでスノボするために宿泊しました。急いで予約したのでちゃんと確認していなかったのですが、ホテルがゲレンデの中間地点にあるためスキー場駐車場から雪上車で送り迎えになります。なにしろゲレンデの途中にホテルがあるわけですからホテルを出て即滑り出せます。そこは最高です。スタッフさんはどなたも優しい感じで道具のレンタルやリフト券の案内などは分かりやすく丁寧でした。ナイター付きの一日券を割安で購入する事ができました。合宿などを受け入れているようで、宿泊した部屋はまさに合宿で泊まる部屋といった感じでした。正直時代を感じる所もありますが、それはそれで妙に落ち着くというか個人的には好きでした。子連れでスノボやスキーに行くと何かとトラブルが起きるものなので、その際に部屋に戻って対応できるメリットは思った以上に大きいと感じました。アーリーチェックイン、レイトチェックアウト対応可能な部屋があるのもポイント高いです。不満があるとすれば大浴場のお湯が熱すぎて入れなかったです。他にも何人もいましたがみんな諦めて風呂に浸からずに出ていました。スノボでクタクタになった身体を癒したかったので残念です。
