Comfortable room though the facilities look a bit old. The common/public bath room is very small and can only accommodate 3 people! Some people had to stand there naked and waited for their turn to wash their body. Many restaurants around the hotel. It is about 5-7 minutes walking from the JR station.

Very small room, and although we only had carry-0n luggage there was really no place to put these small suitcases. Must be a nightmare for cleaners trying to tidy the rooms while stepping around luggage on the floors. Well located in proximity to station but a bit tricky to find. Decor a bit tired. Ok for an overnighter.

This hotel is nothing special. The room was fine, small, like most Japanese hotels. The breakfast was very poor and the hotel is not English-friendly. It was hard to find, as even the name of the hotel was in Japanese. I’d stay again if I was passing through Kanazawa on budget, but would probably pick another more international-friendly hotel if I had a bit more money

We stayed four nights in a twin room. The hotel is only a short five minute walk from the train station and located nearby the hotel are a number of restaurants and bars. The room itself it larger than the average Japanese hotel room. KCHA is a solid option for those on a budget and whom need easy access to the train station.

Simple Japanese style buffet breakfast. No change on any food items during my 4 nights stay. My luggage belt was missing during check in when they kept my luggage without saying a reason or sorry. Luckily nothing was missing.

Hotel is within a few minutes walk of Kanazawa station. However it's a nightmare to find! It took us 20 minutes in the rain, dragging around suitcases to find it. Hotel staff weren't overly friendly either. There's plenty of other hotels around this one and I'd stay at one of them over this one.

I don't think I'd stay here again as it got quite noisy at night (we were near an elevator that rang at every stop) and when we had our window open (as it got humid and the A/C wasn't very good) we could hear very loud exhaust machinery every few minutes. The mattress is thin as well. Aside from that, it was clean and basic, near the train station and about what you'd expect for the price. Also, note that the checkout time is 10 AM!

The hotel is just short walking distance from the Kanazawa station which was very comfortable. Room was nice and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful eventhough their english was very basic. I can recommend to have a breakfast there. Japanese and western buffet very tasty and truly reasonable price.
