The ryokan certainly has accumulated a fair bit of ages, however, it was relatively well maintained. Onsen bath was great, it Moor Spring as they claimed has the highest level of mineral, great for skin. I love the dinner best, with international as well as Japanese styles cuisine. I managed to secure the a Japanese styles room with open air private bath. The summer has considerable humidity, and ryokan attempted to use dehumidifier to remove the humidity. Overall experience was good.

The hotel is just excellent. I would come back here every year. I was happy with everything except the smoky elevator near the bath. Hope that the tobacco smell will be gone before I get back here.

Big traditional hotel with good onsen in a relatively quiet area. We opted for the Western style Japanese room which was very big and comfortable. Room still has traditional ryokan feel but with twin beds which we opted. Dinner was served in a big dining area (which looks a little dated) with few other couples but we were not provided the crab plan as we had indicated. Request to change the main course of beef or scallops to crab was also dismissed. Buffet breakfast was served here and was reasonably good. We enjoyed the outdoor onsen. Service staff at reception and restaurant were helpful but could hardly communicate in English. There was nothing to explore on foot in the surrounding areas so we rested in the room till dinner time.

Took half board and very happy with the dinner n breakfast. Quality of food was good. Ambience was homely. The best part was no group tours. Room was jap style and amenities were well equipped. Futon abit thin for me but it was still ok. Overall, a relaxing and homely stay.

There was nothing to explore on foot in the surrounding areas so we rested in the room till dinner time.

its very far from alot of areas. but if you're heading near furano, this place isn't too far off. dinner and breakfast is provided. facilities are awesome and the private onsen in the room made the distance worth every penny. perfect for a getaway from city life and rest and relaxing holiday.

Nice and spacious room with comfortable bed and pillow. Unfortunately the check in staff and check out staff were very unfriendly.

We really enjoy the stay. The food are tasty, the hot springs are great and really comfortable. We also really appreciate the staff who are really helpful. Although they can’t speak english well, they still willing to listen and try to help. I would like to recommend this hotel to people who want to have a relax hoilday.

This was the first n best hotel of the 6 hotels stayed during my trip. Staff was very friendly and took time to lead us to our room and explain details on the onsen use. Took half board and very happy with the dinner n breakfast. Quality of food was good. Ambience was homely. The best part was no group tours. Room was jap style and amenities were well equipped. Futon abit thin for me but it was still ok. Overall, a relaxing and homely stay.
