Very kind workers. I accidentally booked a room that allowed smoking but my partner is allergic - they were able to accommodate us and gave us a non smoking room. We stayed for 9 days - we had breakfast buffet for 1 day. They cleaned our room everyday and always restocked toiletries/towels when we needed. They have a microwave, laundry room - just coin operated. Very handy!

Navigating from the airport to your hotel can be a bit daunting, but don't worry, we've got you covered! Here's a breakdown of how to get to Nishitetsu Inn Nihonbashi with ease, considering your options for hotel transfer and the best routes from the airport.
  • Taxi (Most Direct):

A taxi is the most straightforward option, taking you directly from the airport to the hotel. However, it's also the most expensive. Expect a fare of around ¥20,000 - ¥30,000 (SGD 200 - SGD 300) depending on traffic and the airport you're arriving at (Narita or Haneda).
  • Limousine Bus (Comfortable and Convenient):

The Airport Limousine Bus offers a comfortable and relatively hassle-free transfer. Look for the bus that goes to the Tokyo City Air Terminal (TCAT), which is near Nihonbashi. From TCAT, it's a short taxi ride or a manageable walk to the hotel. The bus costs around ¥3,200 (SGD 32) per person.
  • Narita Express (N'EX) and Train (Fast and Scenic):

From Narita Airport, take the Narita Express to Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, you can walk (about 15 minutes) or take a short taxi ride to Nishitetsu Inn Nihonbashi. The N'EX costs around ¥3,070 (SGD 31).
  • Keisei Skyliner and Train (Affordable from Narita):

From Narita Airport, the Keisei Skyliner is a faster and slightly cheaper train option than the Narita Express to Nippori Station. From Nippori Station, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to Tokyo Station, then walk or take a taxi to the hotel. The Skyliner costs around ¥2,570 (SGD 26).
  • Train (Most Affordable):

Using a combination of trains is the most budget-friendly option. From Narita, take the JR Sobu Line (Rapid) to Tokyo Station. From Haneda, take the Keikyu Line to Shinagawa Station, then transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, walk or take a taxi to the hotel. This option will cost around ¥1,500 (SGD 15).
  • Ride Hailing (Convenient):

Ride Hailing services are available in Tokyo, offering a convenient way to get to the hotel. However, be aware that surge pricing can significantly increase the fare during peak hours.

Tips:

For the most convenient route, consider the Limousine Bus if you have a lot of luggage. If you're on a budget, the train is your best bet. If time is of the essence and you don't mind spending a bit more, a taxi is the quickest option.

I stayed at this hotel recently and had a very uncomfortable experience with the room temperature. The heater was extremely hot, and there was no way to adjust it. To make things worse, the windows are not allowed to open, so the room became unbearably warm. It was so hot that I couldn’t sleep the entire night. I hope the hotel can improve their heating system and give guests better control over the room environment.

We booked semi double room with 5 regular sized luggages and found the room small. We had to take turns when opening luggages. The bathroom is also small but clean and functional enough. We could hear cars from our room but did not find any issues with the noise, its pretty quiet at night but we were in 12th floor. It is also 5 mins walk to the train station which is so convenient! There’s also 7/11 and Family mart nearby like around 2-4 mins walk. Overall we had a good stay.

Our stay was great! Very friendly staff, clean, and quiet. The bed size was smaller than expected, but it worked for us. It’s conveniently located within walking distance to Tokyo station. The neighborhood felt very corporate compared to other areas we visited, which made it feel much quieter during the evening and night, but not a lot of sightseeing or entertainment in the surrounding blocks. You’ll probably need to take transit if you’re looking to do more touristy activities.

For us it was a good location, easy access to differs metro lines. Room size is what you expect for Tokyo. All stall were pleasant and helpful. Did not try breakfast so can’t comment.
