Modern Ryokan with fantastic facilities and spacious rooms. Onsen comes with sauna and cold dipping pool. Rooms have modern toilets, shower, place to sit. The only slight issue is that commute from the Sapporo station is not convenient by public transport. However it is as short taxi ride, which is both cheap and quick.

Beautiful room and hotel. We didn’t use the spa area. The room was spotlessly clean. The only thing I didnt love was the pillow seemed to be weighted with beans or some such. Quite comfortable to fall asleep in but a bit challenging to adjust overnight. We also used the parking (extra charge) - it was quite easy to access and very convenient.

We were disappointed with our stay at this hotel. Upon entering our room, we were greeted by a strong, unpleasant odor. When we contacted the reception, the only solution offered was to slightly open the window, which did so little. It was so overpowering that it was difficult to tolerate. Additionally, the onsen experience did not meet expectations—it was overrated, and for the same price, you can enjoy a much better experience in Sapporo. Overall, we do not recommend this hotel.

Upon check in we were greeted and offered luggage service. We were then later informed that dinner service was suspended due to the holiday - then later saw people being served dinner and drinks despite being “closed”. Due to cleanliness habits in the building, both my partner and I got sick here. Also suspecting it may have been their general venting system as the a/c(or heater) blew on us the entire night. Cross contamination was high due to how the hotel operated (more hotel then Ryoken - not very personalized). The rooms were incredibly small for the price. Wouldn’t recommend and would advise others looking for an authentic Ryoken experience to not come here. This was a poor experience of one. We won’t be returning and didn’t much care for the lack of care or lack of customization (treated as you would at a normal Ryoken).

Great looking hotel and rooms. Reasons for my 4* rating. There was one thing that I didn’t like about the rooms, lack of space and hangars to hang up our clothes! One other issue - we had got into the hotel earlier than the check in and did all the check in procedures. At 2.50 pm, when the staff clearly had time, they refused to allow us to check in. At 3 pm, they then manually allocated the rooms when each guest appeared , creating a long line. Wouldn’t it have been more efficient to have pre allocated the rooms for guests when they had already registered before the check in?

A stylish and pleasant option -- we stayed a single night at the end of road trip. Room was very nicely designed for a somewhat limited space with a seating area looking out over the gardens, comfortable beds. Depending on your itinerary this may not be your pick for the onsen experience if you have other opportunities, over the many good options out of town around the island -- it was very well done and new but a bit small and a bit crowded relative to others visited on the trip. You will get a very pleasant and beautifully designed experience either way but you are paying for the onsen (based solely on our experience) so factor that in.

We had such a wonderful stay here! The Ryokan had all the traditional Japanese elements with a modern touch with made it super comfortable. The rooms had tatami mats and low beds. The regular rooms were a bit on the small side but we didn't mind because it felt very cozy. Room also came with mochi treats and green tea. The area was a pleasant 10 minute walk to the center, and just across was the Hokkaido Botanical Garden. Right beside the Ryokan was a 24hr Family Mart which made it super convenient to buy snacks and drinks. The design of the Ryokan was very well thought out, natural materials were used- wood, rocks, stones. Tt felt like being in a wellness retreat staying here. Plus they had an Onsen in the property! I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would love to stay there next time I'm back in Sapporo!
