Requested for a smoking room and got one. Thank you very much. The in-room air filter is extremely blocked and dirty but better than the last time which I had to clean it myself. Will give 5 stars for cleanliness if the filter is routinely replaced and not just cleaned.

Prince Hotels have always, in my mind, been supposedly the better hotels, but I finally got a chance to stay at one and my stay was really sad. The room was just tiny and grungy. It was hard to maneuver. I've stayed in better business hotels and this one definitely seemed like a business hotel more or less. I've been to Tokyo many times and the room was small, but it was just crammed and the bed tiny and the AC did not work well. It was not worth staying especially considering we had to go up 2 separate elevators to get to our room and it wasn't clear we were in the annex rather than the actual hotel. It was just not a good experience overall though the service was nice I guess.

Things I liked=The hotel is right across the street from the train station. There are a lot of stores to shop at. Great view. The rooms are OK. Bathrooms are small. Not very large. There's a great buffet morning, noon & night but it is on the pricier side. Other restaurants and lounges are on the upper floors but very expensive. Dinner starting @ $150 Things I didn't like=The auotmated check in at the Kiosk was terrible. Had to get help multiple times. It let you check in early but wasn't very user friendly. The guest next to me was having the same problem. Also the a/c is set at 77 degrees. Tried to change it with no success. reported the issue to the front desk. They sent someone up to check it. Didn't help. Their solution was to send up a fan which helped a little. So thermostats can't be adjusted. The pool was broke and if it was working you have to pay to use it. Mattresses were kinda hard and not as comfortable. Only tea and no coffee in the room.

Fairly good experience staying at the Annex Tower. Some staff at the Annex Tower were rude. The staff at the Main Tower were superb. Great breakfast. Confusing hotel layout but easy after you get used to it.

Basic hotel. Staff are very professional and helpful. Our room was a bit larger than most Japanese hotel rooms (we had a corner room), and it was clean and quiet. Location of hotel is excellent; located right across the street from the train station. Overall, very pleased with our stay.
