Yokohama Heiwa Plaza Hotel

Very clean, huge city and tons of shopping malls, restaurants and iconic/activity’s to see and do.

It was nice and clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were a bit small but that’s to be expected in Japan.

It was my first time in Yokohama and I was so impressed with this hotel. The staff was nice and friendly. The room was great and the location was close to Cosmo world and many of the nearby attractions. It was just a short walk to the Yokohama Air Cabins and ferris wheel and access to the subway was just around the corner. I was able to do a lot of site-seeing despite only being in the area for one day.

Wonderful staff and management

Older property but pretty well maintained. The rooms were comfortable with a soaking tub that seemed deeper yet smaller than some of the other hotels I had stayed at in Japan. Breakfast was good. Overall a relaxing stay and I would come again.

I'm staying for 2 nights for a concert at Pia Arena mm, it's not far for walking. The staff are warmly welcome and the room is not wide but clean.

Small but cozy hotel. The only thing that I didn't like is internet connection which was really slow.

Moving from the US to Japan. Room was much smaller than the pictures but I just needed a bed. Staff was extremely friendly.

The hotel service was awesome. I took my wife and 2 kids (10,8) Location was perfect. Close to multiple train stations. 10-15 min walk to Ferris Wheel and other amazing things. The walk provides great scenery Lots of food options close to hotel. My kids loved the candy shop 2 min away. They make their candy in house. My kids watched them for 30 minutes. At the hotel My wife loved the PJs they provided every night. The buffet needs to be pre paid at the front desk. Well worth the money. Lots of options for even the picky eaters. Amazing two days. The only down side is the rooms are cozy and watch you head if your taller then 5”10. The door frame was not built for taller people. With that said You can’t beat the value, service and location. Family can’t wait to go back

My time at this hotel was a very pleasant experience! The staff was extremely courteous and assisted me daily with the many questions I asked regarding restaurants, transportation, and language matters.

Location and price are the reasons you should consider this hotel. Location is so convenient. A little walk to Kannai's ghetto, a little walk to Minato Mirai (ferris wheel, mall, cup noodle museum, etc), a short train trip to Yokohama, you are in the middle of all the business lunch specials. There's so much great food choices. My gosh, please look up lunch specials in the area. Generally, look for lines at 12pm. Those are the places that offer unbelievable value. We're talking a kaisendon for 600 yen ($5.50). If you are here long term and want to stay fit, you are a block away from Gold's Gym. They offer 2 weeks for 7000 yen, etc. Hotel is on the older side. It's a business hotel after all. It's small, you'll get your rest, you can work, you can shower, go down early for their breakfast special. The mattress was the rolling mattress which squeaks a lot. I was able to hear the neighbors, but sound machine did the job. Tip - They will offer to give you a water bottle for not cleaning your room. I don't want them in my room anyways so it was free water. They want you to hand them the keys before leaving. When you come back, you just say your room number, but this made me feel very uncomfortable. Anyone dressed normally can ask for a room key. The charger didn't work. This goes for most business hotels, but it's small. I hate the bathrooms that feel like you went inside a box. Workers were always friendly and professional.

Good staff and hotel, clean and have nice facilities. but the room that I stayed is small, I cannot open my luggage properly.
