Crowne Plaza VIENTIANE by IHG

Room was quite comfortable, however housekeeping service was quite sloppy. Bath soap was not refilled and room was not vacuumed. Water leaked profusely from the shower room to the outside despite efforts to rectify that. We requested a change of room but the same issue persisted in the new room.

We had a great stay at this Crowne Plaza. The staff was excellent! From arrival to departure, we felt taken care of. The room was huge and the bathroom had a private commode, a must for a 5-star hotel. The Elephant Lounge was great, 5-star service. The Mosaic could use some help. They only had one wine list so we had to wait until other tables were done with it, not 5-stars at all. The food was mediocre too. Overall a great stay. Thank you staff for making our stay extra special.

Hotel Review This was my second time staying at this hotel. The hotel itself is very clean and bright, and I was really pleased with my first stay — that’s why I decided to come back. This last time, though, I felt the service was a little less attentive. The check-in staff were great, and the door staff were very, very helpful — truly excellent. However, the bar and food area staff, while polite, didn’t feel very genuine to me. One major issue that really stood out this time was the mosquitoes. They were bad everywhere — in the lobby, the restrooms, and especially outside near the ponds. The hotel seriously needs to address the mosquito problem to make it more comfortable for guests. Overall, it’s still a clean and beautiful place, but service consistency and pest control definitely need improvement.

Overall a great hotel. Food was really good. Staff were pleasant. Only complaint is the room smelled a little mildewed.

Everything we wanted!

Having travelled for a few weeks and staying in all sorts of accommodation, it was luxury to stay at the Crown Plaza. From the helpful smiling staff to the cleanlimess, choice of food options, swimming pool and quality bedding towels etc I did not want to leave. They even put petals on our bed and presented us with beautiful cakes for our wedding anniversary. I can highly recommend a stay at CP? You wont be disappointed.

Nice property, staff were lovely too. Changed room for us as the first one had a smell. Cannot change money as not allowed in Laos.
