New iHouse Hotel - Hostel

Tv broken. Air con broken. Toilet gurgling all night. Place stinks of cigarettes but has sign saying if smoke in room is $200 dollars fine. Not worth $18

Got to I house at 10.30pm. They told me my booking did not exist and they have no rooms. Lies and deciet. Pure greed and theft. Avoid this hotel at all cost. They are dishonest and corrupt. Karma will get them. My prepaid booking was in there system which was confirmed by hotels.com. do much for a garunteed room. Hotels like this give the hospitality industry a bad name.

Good location, close to cafes and restaurants and nam phou Park. Room was too small and didn’t feel very clean. There was mound in ceiling and on bathroom door.

Great value, this was a return trip, will stay here again. Very close to the Namphu Fountain. convenient for everything.

Staff and room were OK but the lack of any natural light or any view put me off. Room had a window with a view of a brick wall 3 inches away!! No natural light at all got through. Bathroom was more like a small closet, but adequate.

Nice room with a view, paying extra was worth it. Good location and room was comfortable. Bathroom is small. Close and walkable to many things.

Very hotel with friendly staff who were helpful and kind. Hotel was in a good location, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Room was clean and modern, with reasonably good WiFi.

There were no room, witch I booked. When I decided to cancel and wanted to go to another hotel - staff forgot english at all in 1 second. Rooms are realy terrible, looking definately not like on foto. Very small bathroom, shower is realy under the toilet. Everything very old and disgusting.

It has everything you need and you will get what you pay. But do not expect more than that. Staffs are very nice. Bathroom was tiny and dirty but it has hot water and soap. Ac worked very well.

The hotel is nice and situated in a lot of good attraction. But the room that I slept was not comfotable at all. The blankets are old and rip. The bathroom door cut it open too high in the bottom. It about 8 to 10 inches open. When you take a shower, the water comes out to where you sleep. I reserved for seven nights and slept 4 night and left 3 out. Waste my money.

Shower was broken, room was 5th floor without elivator...

Never again.

I dont like they given me 4th floor and without lift. And very bad towels. And very noicy fan voice.

The bed was very old & the mattress was terrible.There was a to with lots of different language channels which was good & the balcony had a table & chairs which is lovely.Bathroom was mega small & fittings didn't work that well.staff were helpful & there was a coffee shop but it was never open.

We stayed in one of the rooms without windows and it was pretty bad... neighbourhood was great but the dampness in the room was terrible. If you stay here try and get a room with a window or a balcony at least, otherwise skip it.

Very nice staff. No elevator in building. Room nothing like picture. Priced competitively for location. Location was great. I felt it was within walking distance of everything

Stay here 3 nights on 2nd floor room. As with all hotels in Laos, prices are high and quality is low. The room was windowless, but ventilated with a fan. The room is tiny, basic, functional and not comfortable. A small plastic stool and a ledge in lieu of a table meant the most comfortable way to work on a laptop was the bed. The room was in need of maintenance and redecorating. Sockets falling out, pipes running along the walls. The bathroom was rubbish. Mold over the sink, just about large enough to showers, impossible to get anything but lukewarm water and with a door with the bottom cut out, letting water into the bedroom. Wifi is patchy, same as everywhere in Laos. The daily housekeeping happened only on the first day, none thereafter. The reception staff were friendly. Although they were just a bunch of kids who were really just manning the reception. Location is pretty good for everything and that's the main positive.

Good cheap hotel to stay at for a couple of nights. Bathroom was very small with the shower over the toilet.
