Old Riga Park Studio

Apartment is a compact 1 bedroom in a good location close to transit, parks, and shops. It faces the courtyard and doesn't get direct sun for most ofthe day, and the bedroom has no windows. Several lightbulbs were burnt out so at night it was very dim. Check-in was partially explained - I got the key from a lockbox but hauled all my stuff up five flights of stairs before calling the host to learn that I needed to go down a side hallway, which had an elevator that wasn't mentioned in the listing (yay!). The place could use a deep clean, but it had a huge tub and a lot of storage in the closets and was overall an average spot - not bad, but not great.

Well located, spacious and functional apartment with good cable channels, Wi-Fi, kitchen and washing machine. The apartment is quite hot in summer and there is no ventilation in the bedroom. There is a mobile air-con unit but it leaks water onto the floor. Also, the low quality bed sheets did not fit the mattress and they became uncomfortable every night when they came loose. It is a shame that they didn't simply have proper sheets, and they should provide a top sheet.

Lovely place. Centrally located, making it an easy walk to the Old Town.

Apartment on 6th floor of a beautiful building. Short walk across a gorgeous park to the very centre of the old town. The apartment was warm and cosy with everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. Self check in (because of late arrival) was made easy by the instructions sent. Maybe could have mentioned it was on the 6th floor. Best bit was being able to have a hot, deep bubble bath at the end of a wintry days sightseeing

The property was not clean with blood stains on the walls. The host didn't meet us to check in so we were left wandering around the building trying to find the apartment, we then had to wait outside for the cleaner to finish despite being after our check in time. There was no hot water for the first day and we had to keep calling and messaging the host to to get updates on when it would be fixed. There was no communication about what do do when checking out until after we had left the property.
