Highly recommended!! Amazing huge rooms, high quality finishings, located on a beautiful estate property that’s peaceful. The staff were so nice. Loved this place would stay again. 10/10

The stuff was great and the hotel is in a middle of a forest which is nice. Breakfast is good too. There are several problems: no water pressure and also the water are very hot or cold. Was really unpleasant to have a shower. The room was not clean (dirty floor) and after I complained must say it didn’t change much. There is no normal sidewalk between the buildings and therefore the mud is everywhere. The design and furniture feel ikea’s cheap. Considering also the high price - I do not think I worth a visit.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, rooms spacious and delightfully decorated. Everything perfect! (Except that the bar tender needs to learn to make a cappuccino from the professional barista machine they have 😜)

Beautiful property! Gardens are lovely. Lots of parking a available. The staff went above and beyond, bed was super comfortable and shower was superb. Would happily stay there again!

Fantastic choice if you want to stay close to the Gauja National Park or the town of Cesis. Our room on the top floor was very comfortable, super clean and spacious with plenty of natural light. It was equipped with all you might need for a short stay. Breakfast was delicious and breakfast service outstanding. So was the check-in at the front desk. Big thank you to the staff. And thanks again for providing umbrellas for the length of our stay.

Beautiful wooden ledges in a wooded area 2 miles from Cesis. Room has been refurbished and modernised to a very high standard

Once we'd decided not to purchase tickets and join the 'New Year Eve Ball', it seemed as though we we treated as second rate guests. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and a very relaxing place to take time out from our hectic travel itinerary. But, shower pressure was terrible the whole time. They acted like they would address it, but they didn't.

AMAZING property in the national park. Gorgeous facility, beautiful surrounding, and very friendly staff & bartender. The heated bathroom floors were a particularly nice touch on a very chilly weekend! Can not recommend enough, can't wait to get back!

We stayed in this lovely hotel for 2 nights and we wished we booked more nights as the location and service is amazing! The room was the best hotel room we ever stayed in. It was a great place for our romantic gateway! We will visit again for sure!!!

A fantastic stay in the woods, this is a charming property with every modern convenience. A delicious restaurant on site and a wonderful breakfast buffet helped make this a stay to remember. Highly recommended.

The hotel was a wonderful experience , the evening meal was wonderful . The aesthetics were very harmonic. However it would have been nice for the reception greeting to be more friendly ., a smile would have helped . Also the breakfast was not up to standard and when asked if there are any eggs ... we received a very straight .. one word..NO,,,,!!!!

We stayed here as an extended family group for two nights following a traditional Latvian family wedding located between Valmiera and Cesis. Our booking covered 5 rooms from a Superior Deluxe suite to deluxe double and standard rooms and all members of our group were very happy with their rooms. The restaurant serves excellent quality food with a wide selection of wines, beers, spirits etc. and offers excellent professional, yet friendly service. Breakfasts were amazing and plentiful again to a very high standard with excellent service. Reception was efficient and effective complemented by online booking and confirmation arrangements. Staff have an excellent grasp of a range of languages and should be complimented for their abilities and attitudes. Obviously for a hotel operating to such high standards prices of rooms and food reflect this but are in no way excessive and on balance offer excellent value for money. My only surprise was that the rooms didn't appear to have air conditioning and considering the heat (it was exceptional) I think that is an oversight. The hotels are situated in extensive grounds with woodland walks and trails and are within easy reach of Cesis town centre, which is a joy to behold rich with history, medieval castle and some excellent shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. It's a lovely hotel, very well run in a wonderful setting. Overall it's pushing towards perfect and that takes some doing.

we were told it was walking distance from the train station - it was not. very hot 3 km walk in mid-day sun. Room was large and airy but no air-con which was a surprise. We were told no safe in the room but yet, there was one. Main reception has magazines to review include a Playboy type magazine called "Kubs". Interesting choice. Beautiful location and dinner and breakfast were fantastic.
