Safe and central hotel. I highly recommend

Clean and safe property. The staff is really nice and helpful as well. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very helpful staff and updated hotel. Reserved two nonsmoking suites but one was on a nosmoking floor and the one on the smoking floor still smelled of stale smoke. Hotel is part of a block in old part of town with many begging children and old women that tugged at our hearts and guilt. Nice street market nearby

The area it’s really bad, if you are going with your family I do not recommend it. The area it is full of people living in the street and beggars. The Hotel has a nice restaurant and good rooms but there is not hot water and they have to check always your fridge to find out if you have taken anything. Be careful of the taxi fares as they will try and charge you double.

Location is good. Clean and meets room standards in its class. My negative experience is that they have double charged even though I prepaid online before coming. It was impossible to communicate with the front desk. Although I shared my receipts, altough I showed the booking papers, Although hotels com tried to communicate and furthermore although my friend from Madagascar tried to explain face to face in their language they didnt understand. Dont rely on they are reading the emails, they dont! We have agreed that they would arrange airport shuttle. No one showed up, I had to take a taxi. We have agreed on having breakfast only 15 minutes before than usual, but I couldnt get breakfast although they confirmed one day before. Some Minor negatives: I couldnt have hot water (maybe priming takes time).. So communication is a big problem. Hotel is good and value for money, but DO NOT make plans based on their promises.

Stayed here with my family. It is a cheap hotel with very good qualities! Comfortable nice rooms, good service, good wifi, safety. The breakfast did not have the greatest selection, and despite having "breakfast included" we were forced to pay extra when we asked for eggs. The location is very good, but not very safe at night, but that would go for almost all of Tana, so I would not remark it as a bad quality about the hotel.

Hotel is good but outside atmosphere is very bad

The hotel is clean and the staffs are nice. Not so many choices for the breakfast. During my stay, hot water did not supply stable, even no hot water supply for few days in my room.

Just ok location. Nice rooftop terrace. Good rooms. Some more quite than others. Great value.

The hotel was incredible and just what I needed for my stay in Tana.

Really nice place. Would recommend to stay at the higher levels floors though. We stay at both 3th and 2th floor. The room at the 3th floor was so great! But the one at the second had some cockroaches. Nice dinner place on 5th floor.

Everything was ok. However when the hotel hosts football teams it could consider host the rest of the guests in different floors or areas. Furthermore the breakfast could be a little more reach !!

Good value at about $44 USD (July 2017). Rooms have central AC, big windows with views of the city, desk, mini fridge and big comfortable bed. Bathrooms are good (not great) with hot water and provided shampoo, soap, toothbrush, slippers. Wi-Fi is good but lots of routers with different passwords so not always connected. Ethernet cable for Internet at the desk was my highlight, great for working on your laptop and consistently good connection. Big plus for business travelers or travelers who want to upload pics from their travels. Located 5 minutes from Independence Avenue and a supermarket is about 10 minutes walk away. Breakfast on 5th floor with great city views and outside terrace. Friendly staff especially at reception. I will be back and recommendat this hotel for people who want to be in the city center at this price range.

Overall very good except the location!! Rooms are good service is good except the pickup, though the Airportpickup was booked well ahead of journey no body turned up!! Excuse was simply we forgot.

Excellent location.

Hotel is located in a nest of back streets a few hundred metres from the main road that circles the city centre. Taxi from the airport takes about 30 minutes at night and an hour during the daytime traffic. Reception was reasonably efficient though had to return for a wifi password. Rooms are a reasonable size, have tea/coffee facilities as well as a fridge/mini-bar, and those on the higher floors, especially at the back, have a bit of a view. Shower and toilet facilities are strangely in different rooms. The shower rooms have been recently updated and feel modern, less so the rest but still a business standard hotel. The doors are fitted with alarms that are easy to trigger accidentally, so it's possible to get woken up by such accidents elsewhere on the floor during the night. Breakfast is a basic continental offering on the top floor. There is air conditioning, but it could only be switched on or off and seemed to be set at a constant 23 celsius. Worth noting that once you leave the hotel's front door you're in a chaotic environment where many of the pavements double as street markets.
