Stayed for 2 nights. It was a great experience. Awesome ambiance, modern design, beautiful sceneries and good hospitality. The room was spacious, clean and well-organised. Tea snacks was included which was good. The isolated location makes it feel tranquil. I might consider come again in future. The only thing which I think could be improved is that I think gym should add at least 1 more threadmill. A good threadmill is really essential for a gym. Apart from that, everything else was great.

It was not a pleasant experience in terms of the room/bathroom condition (moldy wall with smell), worse when we requested for a villa exchange after we found a dead frog in our private pool. The solutions given were not accommodative, neither acceptable. The higher management is way too narrow-minded and they definitely need to brush up their hospitality and customer service skills to run a so-called"overpriced luxury resort".

My 1st stay is superb. Amazed with the unique architecture of room incorporated with forest and beach. My 2nd stay here felt not welcoming. Booked same type of room and they didn't serve complimentary fruits. When asked they said booking via website only could enjoy that. Meanwhile during my 1st stay I booked through online and got the complimentary fruits. The toilet and pool not clean at all. Pool light broken and we swim in the dark at night. Called hotel and they sent technician to fix unfortunately unable to fix that night. Outdoor shower not well maintained. No water coming out from the shower. Hope they will improve and check all the shower, lights and cleanliness before allow guest to check in as I knew this resort is 4-5stars level.

Overall all was good but the only bad experience was the room is not clean. When I entered the shower area, noticed 3 things immediately-used shower gel with cap open, used band aid, hair band with hair. These are things left by the previous guest and I was really uncomfortable with this situation and have concern that the room is not clean properly. We contacted the house keeping and get the things removed. The place is beautiful and private but our experience was bad with cleanliness of the room.

Weve stayed for 2 nights. Upon arriving, the check in went smoothly. The room is spacious, we love the room. Large bathroom overlooking the forest. The mini bar is complimentaty. At night, we had our dinner at the kenyang restaurant. The menu is variety but the the food is, I would say, eatable. Since we came during monsoon season, so on our second day, it rains the entire day and night. We request for an umbrella thrice but no one sending it to our room. According to the hotel, theres umbrella in the cupboard, but we checked more than twice, they didn't include the umbrella in the room. Further, we have to request for housekeeping to clean our room, and it came quite late in the evening. The cleaning was not conducted properly, I even have to request the housekeeping to make our bed! Before we leave the hotel during check out, the housekeeping left the plates that theyve picked the other day at the side of the front yard. So far what we like about this place is the surroundings. We booked the beach villa overlooking the beach (though it was blocked by big rocks to avoid strong waves during monsoon season). The peace and tranquility is what we need. The kids can swim at our private pool and we don't have to go to the main pool. Those who are looking for a quiet peace of mind, you can stay here.

Overall it’s a good and relax staycation. Nice building design with unique furniture. Quiet, peaceful environment, can wake up with the sound of waves. Staffs are mainly local Malay, very friendly and helpful. The foods and drink are standard hotel quality with local taste. As the guest capacity is not high so can expect that the food variety will be limited. The beach is still under maintenance, huge stones placed to block the strong wave. It’s very dangerous to swim by the beach. Besides of the sea view, nothing too much to expect of, facing east but hard to see sunrise probably because of the weather. Hygiene of bathroom to be improved, windows are better to keep closed to avoid insects. Overall, is still worth for a visit, to temporary stay away from bustling city life.

The villa we stayed was fantastic! We really enjoyed our stay in the kasturi. Just a minor issue about the bed, and the room has so many insects on the bed and on the floor. Perhaps the kasturi could improve it some other days.

Excellent staffs, beautiful room and view. Food. was yummy. We had breakfast, lunch, tea break by the pool and dinner. Minus points for location of coffee making station in the room - situated next to the toilet and hot shower was inconsistent. It's either scalding hot or too cold. No warm water. A minute it was cold and then it turned hot.
