Salt Beach Hotel

The room was awful. The TV didn't work. I asked the staff member, and he just looked at me and said, "Sir, the TV doesn't work. The air conditioning only goes up to 24°C." I was dying of heat. I turned on the fan, and it was making a hellish noise, lots of cobwebs, water dripping from the bathroom, and there was no divider. In other words, the bathroom was completely wet after showering. The hairdryer didn't work, and there was a terrible noise coming from the room next door. I asked the staff if they could change my room, but they simply said they had no more rooms. Not to mention, I have no complaints, but they helped me with an early check-in. I was super tired from flying from MCO, a two-day trip. They're nice, but the room... Guys, Expedia shouldn't do this to us. The room is nothing compared to the photos on the website. I have videos and photos and will post them for you to see. If you're in the Maldives, invest in something better than this hotel.

You get what you paid

The front desk staff are generally nice and friendly, the room are reasonablely okay condition,only the tour operation department has some issue, their price is the average market price ,but the quality they offer are not good, particularly they finish the whole tour one and half hour earlier than they promised, when you ask why, theu just simply told you that since we have less people today,so we end the tour earlier than usual, and one guy whose name is Rocky,his attitude to the customer are not in a very professional manner,when you ask if they have hot water,he just said in a mocking tongue : Man,it's a boat,not a restaurant! in this case,I would not recommend to join the excursion tour they offer.

Salt Beach Hotel is a great budget friendly hotel. As a solo traveler I felt completely safe (due to my laziness I even left my room unlocked for hours at a time when I left to the beach) and felt like I was really cared for. Manoruban was willing to be able to help me with anything I needed, big or small. Ram helping me with taking my luggage to the public ferry was a big help and I could always count on Ram for making my room beautiful. I couldn’t be more grateful for the staff at Salt Beach Hotel and I recommend to anyone visiting Maafushi. Would definitely come again!

Very accommodating staff especially Kalam and he took my luggage that i left in the port and the cleaner man always on smile (i dont know his name) and also Natalia was very helpful to our trip in the nurse shark and the sand bank... great experience... cheers!

Kalam and the rest of the staff is very helpful. They offered good price for tour and very honest/professional when dealing with tour issue such as weather is not permitted and the tour needs to be cancelled, changes of itinerary and etc. They will refund accordingly and advised is accordingly. Highly recommended.

Clean linens, clean room, location, good breakfast

Maafushi offers a base for activities in Maldives and Salt Beach answers all the questions. Especially, service provided by the hotel was fantastic and special thanks to Kalumn, Jumza and the team for made my day - all they’re amazing. Highly recommended!!!

The staff is really friendly from the hotel. There are plenty of activities that you can do, we did the half day tour for snorkeling and one day tour for nice resort. They are quite nice. Breakfast options are limited. If you book the room for ground floor, expect that there will be some big ants in the room. Overall it is a nice hotel if you don’t set your expectations high. The staff was very friendly and there's a lot of activities to do. The price for each activity was reasonable as well

AMAZING. Staff was so friendly, as I was traveling alone. They helped me set up tours and excursions every day, were super accommodating about when to make up the room and when I could check out. Always around to say hi and help with recommendations for food/things to do. Free water and coffee/tea, and breakfast is included at the restaurant next door. Had a sea view room and the sunrise/sunsets were absolutely gorgeous. You can watch all the people doing water sports, super fun. Would absolutely recommend!

Beachfront Nice place to stay..

It's located in convenient place. Breakfast is not so good but Bangladesh staff is very helpfull.

Nice hotel right on the beachfront. Only a few steps to the beach.
