I would rate the hotel a 7 over 10 because the Wifi is pretty poor. The staff were welcoming and very pleasant. The food options was also great, nice atmosphere and wonderful view.

There was repair/construction work being done during core hours while we were there to relax. Stray cats and dogs were wandering around the property. Limited option for typical Mauritian food.

Great view.
All inclusive option very limited drink and food choices.
Drinks limited to cheap local rum not even Green Island which is made locally.
Very basic food not a lot of choices.
No snacks in between meals.
Afternoon tea is from 4-5 and only have stale cookies, sometimes dry tiny square of cake and crepe.
Bird poop everywhere around the units.
Staff are overworked.

The reception staff are in dreamworld of their own. When you ask or complain. Nothing is done. I think they have to get permission from Manager or owner who is not around. False advertising of hotel, then they say take it with Expedia but its their Hotel they take the money. Food was horrible. Only plus is the housekeeping. Sita was brilliant. She is an asset to the resort. Will not be coming there again . Horrible place Avoid it completely . Many nice Hotels and resorts around

The pool and beach areas are beautiful. Fantastic ocean breeze, you can sit all day. Beds were extremely firm. Would have liked a couple more pillows. Not much to do locally, definitely confined to the hotel area for the most part. Food was actually really good at the buffet, nothing too special but good...maybe some more local options would be great. Activities were ok, no one was really interested in participating. Staff did a good job, i would stay again just for the pool and view

Hotel was overpriced definitely for off-peak season but we were given renovated rooms which made up for it. Food was very nice. Pool in average condition but the location is beautiful. Beach nowhere like Troix aux biche but this is a lovely location. It's easy to meet the locals and if you're on half board walk to the bridge (can't miss it) between 10.30-11.30am and buy soup and rotie from the lady who cooks for the taxis etc. Lovely and a great deal. Taxi to the airport can be had for RS 1,000 but be my guest and pay Rs 1,500 they ask (or Rs 1,200). The best thing about this hotel however is the staff. The Indian staff are just lovely in nature and the locals are wonderful too. My daughter had a birthday the day after we left and they made a cake at breakfast within 10 minutes. Evening entertainment so, so but fine. This is a place to chill and you can do that easily if you arrive chilled (took me a day!). The non renovated rooms have a "20 yrs ago" feel but the view is nice. We enjoyed staying at this hotel.

Staff were very friendly. The swimming pools were wonderful and perfect for our toddler. Nice range of food at the buffet. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. We loved our stay.
The man made beach is not as nice as a natural one but gives you the opportunity get in the sea and for water sports.

The staff of the hotel is very nice and devoted, they really made the stay enjoyable. The beach is not very good to swim. There's no restaurant in the village (if you go there you depend on the hotel and have to eat dinner in the hotel). The food is fine. Overall the price-quality is good and it's a nice place to be.

We had a fantastic honeymoon at Laguna, the room was neat and clean and staff was very hospitable. We even had a complimentary honeymoon candlelit diner and we must say that the chefs are really good! We enjoyed all our meals and especially loved the pool and the beach though the beach is quite small.
The chef made specifically requested breakfast for us and even made special juice for us each morning. We really loved the chicken livers they made just for us!
The hotel had a night where a really good band played and we danced the night away. We also enjoyed games of pool and there is a really good gym too.
Thank you Laguna for our memorable stay.

Comfortable and clean, buffet meals were delicious. There were problems with getting hot water from the shower - it was inconsistent and one had to let the water run and wait very long before the hot water came. Staff can be friendlier.
