Hotel Beló Isla Mujeres - All Inclusive - Sargassum Free

It was secluded and at the end of the island right next-door to the ice bar.

This was THE most magical stay because of the staff. Everyone had impeccable energy within the team and with the guests. They made this experience utterly beautiful. Mateo and Kassandra greeted us with attentive warmth. Willy and Abdel started each of the days with smiles and kindness. Rodolfo and Julio especially MADE the experience…the two of them gifted us with jokes, care and friendship. Cortes was the best protector. Tony, Hugo, Arnulfo and Jorge set our nights (and drinks) on fire. Ingrid did an amazing job of keeping our room beautiful. The grounds keeping staff worked tirelessly to keep the beach, fauna and pool areas like paradise. Nelly and Ingrid gave THE greatest massages. I cannot explain what a tremendous job this hotel does at hiring THE most lovely humans. Everyday felt like being surrounded by genuine friends and family because of the staff atmosphere.

When it first opened, loved it, they changed the food menu. None of it was really good. But the staff was amazing. Don’t think I would ever go there again.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful inside and out, impeccably clean, manicured, and very friendly helpful staff. The food was excellent. Everything we had was fantastic. Downside: 1. Our room had the door kicked in at some point and it was screwed back together badly with no metal plates for the lock or door handle to go into. Rm 216 2. The bathrooms have no doors. Toilet area does, but there's no privacy whatsoever. Some people have kids or roomemates and have no place to change or shower with any privacy. 3. The beach front was disappointing. There is a weird built up burm and where that was smelled terrible. There was really no beach area to speak of. The hotel next to us did. 4. It's a long way from the town center. You have to taxi back and forth, $10 each way, or rent a $120 a day golf cart. Can't walk there at all. If I go back, I'd probably pick a place closer to town.

We absolutely loved Hotel Belo. The staff was amazing, super friendly and always went above and beyond! Food was always so fresh and the property was super clean. Every day they prepared the pool area and cleaned all the common areas. Even getting on ladders and cleaning high up in the hard to reach places. My husband ended up with a migraine one evening and we had to order room service. I ordered 2 chicken Caesar salads but forgot to order one without tomatoes. My husband hates tomatoes. Yet when room service delivered the order they remembered our request from recently eating at the restaurant downstairs and put the tomatoes on the side! I was so surprised. It's really the little things and they definitely pay attention to those details to ensure your stay is the best it can be. Rooftop pool was surprisingly dead and we suggested they add loungers. It didn't happen during our stay. I'm sure there is a reason behind that but it definitely would have more inviting and we would have spent much more time there if they had. They used to have round bed loungers in the pool, which would have been perfect, but sadly they were no longer there. We had an issue on our 5th night with a group of loud young girls who checked in next door and were up until 2:30am. The next morning we asked if we could possibly move rooms as we are not night owls. The front desk staff immediately took action and offered us another room with a beach view. Overall SUPER impressed with Hotel Belo!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend getting a golf cart to explore. The food and drinks were good. There were a few of things that could have been better. - the elevators didn't work - there was no A/C in the restaurant - there was no water in their slot of the beach

LOVED this gorgeous property! The resort is very aesthetically pleasing. Rooms were spacious & beautiful with a lovely balcony. Two pools which were nearly empty other than us swimming the majority of the time. We enjoyed the restaurants offered. The beach isn’t the best on the island but it’s nice and the day beds and loungers are a nice option! Check in was a breeze and the service was great! We especially enjoyed Hugo & Arnulfo. They made our experience fun and enjoyable. The food is good and cooked to order. Room service is a great option as well. We were able to plan excursions right from the hotel. Can’t wait to return.

Food was great! Roof top pool & bar FANTASTIC! Staff was attentive. Housekeeping didn’t replenish toiletries or coffee during our stay, but room was tidy & clean towels were provided. Pro tip: we normally rent a golf cart, but opted to use taxi to/from town square and it was SO cheap - much less than the expense of cart rental. The taxis run 24/7.

The property was clean and all of the wait staff were fantastic. There isn’t much of a beach and you can’t really swim by the hotel. We had a water leak in the ceiling of our bathroom that was dripping. I was a little disappointed we weren’t offered a different room (Mateo told us only 9 rooms in the hotel were booked so there were empty rooms). We only had one day left so I didn’t make it a big deal. Also, there is no door on the shower area of the bathroom. Fine if traveling with a significant other but could be weird with friends. The toilet area does have a door. We loved the iguana that lives by the pool and the two kitties that hang out in the beach.

Hotel Belo is a hidden gem. The staff, grounds and food were terrific! We will return!

Amazing hotel! Small boutique, all inclusive with amazing, clean rooms, even better service and a great location with easy access to any part of the island. I recommend getting a golf cart! You will not regret choosing this hotel!

Small, but beautiful resort with a great staff! Drinks are great, but I wish they had a more varied dinner menu or a different dinner menu every other day!

Staff were very friendly and the property was very clean, we were locked out of our room 5 different times and we couldn't get that resolved for 3 days until we went to the sales manager, I felt the room temperature was to cold and they would not adjust the temperature and we couldn't get washcloths for 2 days but other than that it was a very nice stay. No real beach at this resort we did travel to North beach which was amazing

This property and its staff were wonderful. We arrived early 3 hours before check in and they bent over backwards to accomodate us. Pool was so lovely and view of the ocean from there was perfect! Our room was spacious and cute. The hotel is small-ish and just what we were looking for! Service was incredible and food was good. We don't travel back to many destinations, but I would definitley visit again!! ** The only downside was the beach. It is my understanding that they are in the process of "building it up". So, they have these sand bags... Even with that being said, I would still give this 5 stars.
