Hotel Boutique Casa Flor De Mayo

Beautiful boutique hotel. Our room was comfortable and lovely, and the hotel itself is artfully furnished and decorated. We had a healthy and delicious breakfast. BEST thing - the concierge Edgar. Friendly and helpful, and knows anything you’d ever need to ask. What a treasure!

If I return to Merida, there is nowhere else I'd stay. The staff here were incredibly kind and helpful. The level of consideration and compassion far exceeded any of my expectations or past experiences with customer service anywhere in the world.

Nice property. No services to speak of. Owner is very friendly and seems to always be there. Very pretty hotel. A bit of a walk to shops and restaurants, so the location is not ideal. Somewhat overpriced for what you get.

My adult daughter and I stayed here for five nights over the Christmas holiday 2023. We loved this hotel! Everyone was super kind and helpful, the hotel was beautifully decorated, and the breakfast was always delicious and freshly prepared. One of the best hotel stays I have hever had.

Everything was wonderful. It was especially fun talking with the staff.

I highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel while staying in Merida. The people working there were friendly and helpful, it’s within walking distance to everything, and it is beautifully decorated. We met the owner, Matt, who takes great pride in this Casa.

It's a perfect place to stay in Merida. It was a quiet oasis yet it was easy to walk to the main blvd. Parking on the street in front of the hotel was convenient and always seemed to be available.

Lots of greenery, pool to use to cool off in. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast was delicious The owner made sure we had a taxi driver we could trust and rely on to drive us where and whenever we wanted to. It was a wonderful experience. I was able to extend my stay an extra 2 days with no problem.

Wonderful hotel. The owner,Matthew,his son Juan,Edgar and the entire staff is exceptionally attentive. Everyone treated us so well. The room was spacious with its own patio and nice bathroom. Breakfast daily was delicious. We enjoyed the homemade apple cake!

Almost all of the staff were outstanding especially the owner Mathew. Mathew and I shared many delightful conversations and Edgar spoke English better than I. I told him I would like to take a class from him some day as he is or has been a teacher.

If I could give the staff 1,000 happy faces, I would. Truly top shelf people who really care about their jobs and helping people. The setting and location are perfect and homey. Rooms are beautifully decorated. I can't find any negatives at all. Breakfast is simple yet outstanding. Thanks to Matt & his staff!

The hotel is charming - it was beautifully decorated for the holidays with great care and thought - rooms are on the smaller size but still comfortable and efficient- the continental breakfast was delicious & plentiful

The hotel is amazing and the owner (Matt) and his staff are wondeful. Matt arranged all of my tours before I arrived and kept in touch every time I had a question! I loved my stay here and would definitely recommend this amazing hotel. Thank you for making my stay in Merida a great one!

This hotel was delightful and charming. It is a small hotel that felt like a home away from home. It was comfortable and very clean. We felt very safe there, in the hotel, as well as in Merida itself. Matthew, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. He gave us some great tips for restaurants and sightseeing. The breakfast was healthy and delicious. The ladies preparing it were kind and accommodating. There is a kitchen that guests can use to prepare a meal. That was a very nice bonus for us guests. It was also great to have a pool, even though it was small, to cool off after a hot day out in the city. We highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and restful stay.

Absolutely lovely boutique hotel. All the staff and hotel owner Matt provided service beyond our expectations. The property is walking distance to Paseo Montejo. It's beautifully decorated with very peaceful ambiance, Amazing breakfast prepared by hotel staff every morning. Very very comfortable place to stay. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a home away from home.

My husband and I just got back from spending a week in Merida. Hotel Flor de Mayo exceeded our expectations in every way. The hotel is in a perfect location with lots of restaurants and interesting places close by. Our room was adorable and impeccably clean every day. The AC was very efficient. This is very important since Mérida is quite hot. The service was incredible. From the owner to every individual in the hotel they went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable. We almost felt as if we were among family! We are planning to return to beautiful Mérida and will stay in Flor de Mayo again. A jewel for sure!
