Hotel Casa Rush

The staff was wonderful!! They treated us as family and they helped us any way they could. The rooms are clean, the pool is beautiful and very private. It was one of the best stays as we headed down the coast. Thank you so much!!!!

The views are amazing, the property offers a lot of good spots to relax, the included breakfast is amazing, the area is walkable, just a lot of stairs to get to the main beach area, in general for me this is a hidden gem

The authentic breakfast made daily, was amazing. Also the fresh fruit plates. The biggest plus this property has is the staff. Isabella, and Lupita were warm caring and sincere.

This was a great place to call home. It felt very welcoming, staff was really nice, helpful and friendly. The pool and deck area are a gem. Breakfasts were hearty and different every day. Great towels for beach and pool. Only complaint was that they shocked the pool during daytime hours which closed it (should be done at night) and rooms could use some decor on walls.

Our stay was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure both our safety and comfort, making us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our visit. One of the highlights of our experience was the complimentary full restaurant-style breakfast. Unlike typical buffet options, this breakfast was made to order, ensuring that each meal was fresh, hot, and tailored to our preferences. Having the opportunity to enjoy a freshly prepared meal each morning was a delightful bonus that added to the overall quality of our stay.

Casa Rush is a fantastic, small, hotel. It is very clean with an amazing pool that overlooks the bay of Puerto Angel. The pool is large and warm and is great for kids that can swim. The temperature of the pool warms up during the day but if you are wary of a cold pool you don't have to worry here! We saw whales passing by in the bay right from the pool! Breakfast is included and the staff are very accommodating. The chilaquiles are phenomenal. They made pancakes for my picky children more than once. All of the staff were so helpful and accommodating. Amanda was so warm and welcoming and she and Isabella actually walked us to dinner the first night we arrived as it was very late and dark for us to find our way. Amanda even helped me access a bathroom in town one day when my 6 year old desperately needed to pee. Lupita checked with us each day if we needed the room cleaned. The rooms are generously sized with multiple beds. The beds were comfortable and hot water was plentiful. Oaxaca has a water shortage though so keep this in mind and have short showers... The hotel is situated at the top of a short hill. There is a steep set of stairs to get down right into town. There are about 65 stairs and then a short but fairly steep road with cobblestones and rough road. It is not suitable for those with mobility issues or who might have difficulty in steep, uneven terrain. That said, it is really only a 5 minute walk down and similar back up. Excellent hotel and I recommend!

TODO estuvo espectacular! Mauricio el host, es un tipazo, está súper atento en todo momento. Mi novio se sintió mal y tanto Mauricio como el staff estuvieron súper atentos. Nosotros nos quedamos en un cuarto de cama king size, súper cómodo, con AC y todo lo necesario. El desayuno es rico, nosotros escogimos huevito ambos días y todo muy bien! La verdad te sientes como en casa en todo momento!

Very quiet, clean, and staff were great. It has a great view to the ocean ….. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Puerto Angel, Oaxaca. Love it!!!!!

Eine wahre Oase mit Panoramablick auf die Bucht von Puerto Ángel, die Lust macht, länger als geplant in der Casa Ruth zu bleiben, so wie wir es schließlich getan haben. Der Pool, der Whirlpool, die Terrasse, der farbenfrohe und gepflegte Garten, die entspannenden Bereiche machen diese Unterkunft zu einem unglaublichen Ort in Puerto Angel. Die Lage ist einfach unglaublich und das Personal superfreundlich. Dank Mauricios Empfehlungen und der Hilfe von Lupita und Amanda haben wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Internetverbindung ist sehr schnell und wer mit dem Auto anreist, kann innerhalb des Geländes parken. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und werden diese Unterkunft unseren Freunden weiterempfehlen.
