Hotel Riu Latino - Adults Only - All Inclusive

Loved loved loved this resort. Absolutely spotless everywhere, staff cleaning at all times. Restaurants and buffet were all great. Multiple pools for your preferred level of enjoyment and lots of activities to choose from. Beach was beautiful and a very short walk from the pools. Beach guys worked so hard to ensure everyone got chairs. And lastly the waterslides were a blast.

Close to beach, staff was amazing, food was good but not great

Best bang for your buck. Would recommend to some people but not everyone. It’s More of a party vibe resort. If you’re looking for relaxing, there’s a quiet pool but there are other resorts that are more geared towards a peaceful stay. Food was great for all inclusive, but the night shows (although appreciated for effort) are mostly done by the day pool entertainment staff and are a bit on the silly side. The entertainment $ at this hotel is dedicated towards RIU parties or live instrumental. We watched one singer that may have been famous in Mexico but was fully Spanish. Property was still very beautiful and we were well taken care of. We had no issues with our stay and felt as though we got our moneys worth!

Will definitely be back

Overall the resort is okay, but there are so many areas they need to improve. All the restaurants didn't offer a hard liquor, only wine and beer, which is really weird. The resort does not have a room service.

Fabulous time! Our one and only dislike (very minor) was that the bedding was 2 sheets to cover yourself with. There were no comforters or thicker blankets. Besides that, stunning resort!

Excellent service from all the staff. The food was great. The hotel is new, so facilities are new. The beach is fantastic.

We loved everything about our stay! Especially loved Jenny in the buffet. Can't wait to go back!!!

Everyone on this place was amazing, and riu latino was fantastic

Take this place at face value, Riu is usually a low costing all inclusive yet they uphold a certain standard at each of their properties. Excellent service from staff for the most part, the food is good not great (buffets only have such a high ceiling), and the drinks are plentiful (considerably watered down, but that’s fine — just order more, it’s free). Multiple pools for your desired vibe, and the water slides were a great surprise of fun that added a lot to my trip. This is my wife and I’s third time staying at Riu— and since our ideal vacation is pool, beach, drinks, food — it works for us every single time. Will continue to consider Riu, and will recommend this one for a safe spot away from the downtown nonsense of Cancun.

Everyone was so friendly and helpfu

This was our first real vacation in 5 years and an 8-year late anniversary trip for ourselves. I booked it through Expedia and had a great experience. Itineraries were emailed separately with confirmations and everything went smoothly. I got this trip for about 1800 a person and have seen it gone up as high as about $2,400 during peak season. It was about a 40-minute drive from Cancun airport. The hotel is a fairly new Rio and is absolutely beautiful! The grounds are well maintained daily. The staff is super friendly and speaks very good English. Mostly the food and drink is decent and fresh and neither me or my husband got sick during the stay which was a plus. It is in Costa mujera so it is definitely out of the city so it's a more relaxed Vibe if that's what you're looking for, but we absolutely loved it. The beach is long, both North and South so you can have daily walks I booked a partial ocean view room and they upgraded us to a full ocean view which was very nice for our anniversary. Our room was a corner room, it was I think a bit bigger than usual. So very spacious and clean with no mold stains, dirt or bugs anywhere and are air-condition and fan worked perfectly the whole stay. You can walk to the pools in like 3 minutes from pretty much anywhere on the property and the Beach is another 2 minutes away. Overall we had an amazing stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for an all-inclusive adult only resort!

Such a beautiful resort, easy access to everything with endless activities. The staff are so friendly and it was such a good vibe!!! Highly recommend this place!!!!

This all inclusive adult only resort gave my partner and I a well-rounded experience. The food was mostly great, buffet option was always available and had a good variety of options, and the specialty restaurants were amazing. Be prepared to wait at some of the specialty restaurants if it’s a busy night, my partner and I got to go close to opening at times and we ended up not having to wait at all during the night. The pool and beach area is lovely and kept clean. Amazing drinks everywhere and even in the room. If you care about a gym during your stay, the one they have has limited equipment, dumbbells or up to 20 kgs, assortment of machines, one cable system, and some cardio machines. Easy to get around the space, overall good experience.

Overall good experience. The staff can definitely improve their manners, and disallow unplanned charges.
