It was quiet, beautiful. area. The property had plenty of options for shaded seating at the beach, as well as a shower and bathroom near the beach. Staff was great and very helpful. We enjpyed the restaurant. We ate breakfast which was included and had a reasonably priced dinner every night. We had been to the area several times, so we weren't interested in that. We had also been to the ruins, which is a short walk to the end ofthe beach, we didn't go in. There is a charge from the National Park when you enter that area, but it was much. They keep the area patrolled and it felt safe. The park is eco feiendly so no plastic bottles allowed, which we apprecited. The hotel had water available for guests. We liked the casitas, they aren't fancy, but the bed was good, they were cleaned daily. The bathrooms are open air (no ceiling) but private and adequate. The best part for us was we were 50 yards feom the beach, step out of the door onto the sand and your there.

We loved our little house on the beach and would return in a heartbeat! You can walk to the Tulum Ruins and being in Parque Jaguar makes the area pretty quiet, different than the beach area in the hotel zone. It was great for us but be aware there is a daily fee to enter the park so if you are planning on a lot of excursions away from the hotel/beach then those fees can add up. The included breakfast was lovely. My son felt very pampered hanging out at the beach club. The front desk staff were wonderful, very attentive ensuring we were having a great stay and helping me with figuring out transportation on the collectivos and making recommendations for excellent street food in Tulum Pueblo. Don't miss Churros la Lupita!

My daughter and I stayed at Alito Hotel for a whole week and we had a fabulous time, the hotel is not a luxury resort, but it is very comfortable, clean and the staff is so kind, and hard working, we stayed at the building but maybe the cabanas would have been more quiet as some of the other guests were noisy either very early in the morning or late at night. The beach is amazing, white powdery sand, crystal clear water without strong tides, we swam in the ocean every day! The hotel is inside the park and it is walking distance to the Tulum Ruins, the park has constant transportation between the Ruins and the other hotels all day until 7 PM but I do recommend to have a rental car as it is away from town and you do need a car or a taxi to get around and taxis can be expensive. Be aware of the many hidden fees that the rental companies impose on you and do not disclose when you make the reservation, but all and all it was worth having our own vehicle. The restaurant is on the beach and the food was very tasty, the manu is on the small side, but everything we tried was good, We had some issues with the water in our room but the staff was so responsive and sent maintanince right away, they even gave us the key for another room to use in the meantime, the beds were very comfortable, the only suggestion I would have is to have a full leght mirror in the room, as the only one in the bathroom is small. We had a lovely stayed and will definetely recommend it.

The hotel itself was great. The beach is amazing, the included breakfast was very good for a your standard hotel breakfast. Cleaning staff did a great job. Pool is nice as a change of pace from the ocean. The pictures don’t do this place justice, it’s far nicer than it initially looks I think. My only issue is staying in the park. In general, it was fine but having to buy wrist bands every day is a giant PITA, especially if you come back after 5pm unexpectedly. The park staff all tell you different things and I don’t think anyone really knows what to actually do. Why not let me buy a week pass to the park? Why do I need to do it every day? Or sell me all the wristbands at once? I understand this isn’t a problem with the hotel itself, but the national park. This process needs work, but again it’s not the fault of the hotel. Also, don’t trust Google maps directions to get to the hotel. You need to take the long way around currently and go in the other end of the park than Google will direct you. Overall wonderful stay and highly recommend the hotel.

Alito Hotel was amazing and exactly what my partner and I were looking for during our trip to Tulum. The beach was stunning, the food was amazing and the staff were very kind! There are a couple things to consider: 1. The beds are pretty worn in and not the comfiest. The springs in ours were completely broken and made sleep disruptive. 2. There was a miscommunication regarding entry into the national park after 5pm. The hotel is located inside the Jaguar National Park so if you leave the hotel, you must reenter the park to get back to the hotel. We were told many times to simply show our reservation to be allowed in after the park has closed, but we encountered an issue where the park guard would not let us through because our bracelet was not for that day. Turns out, the hotel is supposed to sell us bracelets every day to pay the daily park fee and be allowed in. My partner and I were stuck outside the park with no entry and the hotel did not answer any phone calls through the various numbers we found. 3. Definitely travel with a steel water bottle! There is fresh water in the lobby that we used to refill our bottles

We LOVED staying at the Alito Tulum Hotel!!! The Resort is right on the ocean within the El Jaguar National Park - the Mayan Ruins are a short walk down either the beach or the park road (which has shuttles running constantly). As older travelers, we felt very safe at all times. The staff is very helpful, food is great and it is such a nice sized resort; about 30 bungalows. The bungalows have thatched roofs and are very pleasant inside. Definitely a great place to avoid the over stimulation of the big resorts! Pay attention to the no plastics rule inside the National Park - bring your own water bottle!

The beauty is second to none. The hotel is located in a national park so you need to pay daily which is a bit of a bummer. Also, the park officials will confiscate your alcohol when entering the park so conceal the booze if you can, staff are very friendly and pleasant.

I am very disappointed because I had high expectations for this hotel. The breakfast was terrible and the service was bad, we waited a whole hour for our food to come out and mind you there was not many people at breakfast there was a lot of empty tables. I don’t understand why I needed to wait that long just for my food to be served cold and stale and the portions size was ridiculously small.
