Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya - An Adults Only All Inclusive

This is our second stay and it was so much fun. It is a little quieter adult resort but still lots to keep you busy and enjoy your time. The place is very clean and service is great.

This was a great place to stay! The property opened in 2023 and so is quite new. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean and high end. Great quality for price.

This resort is absolutely amazing. Super clean. Super friendly staff. Great food! We got an upgraded room and it was simply amazing. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone travelling to this area. And would come back in the future

No beach!! Water temp bad in showers, fridge didnt work right

The staff was excellent. The problems are the same with any Karisma resort as they offer you everything and very rarely deliver with any of their promises as many other people has pointed out lost reservations or on a week long stay they cannot get you a reservation. These are problems we run into at multiple karisma resorts. I will be the last time we will be staying with them.

No beach! You would think a place with the name Margaritaville would have tons of frozen Margaritaville machines in the swim up bar area. No shows at night besides DJ and bands. Not enough activites

A beach is a must!!

We liked everything about this resort except the fact that they had no beach. We knew that going in but it was still a bummer not being able to walk on the beach and feeling the sand and water between your toes. The resort says they have plans to rebuild the beach, which will make this place fantastic. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Erika provided our maid service and did a super job. During our week there, the service was above and beyond in all areas, at restaurants, at the buffet, at the swim up pool bars, you name it, service was excellent. I'd like to mention the three wonderful concierges that took care of all our needs. Dafne, Viridiana, and Febe were always a step ahead of us whenever we needed anything. All the waiters and bartenders were always a pleasure to be with. The resort is on the smaller size, which we wanted so that there would not be tons of walking. All in all, we give this resort a 5 star rating, and hope to visit again. Bob H. and Jane W.

My only complaint was my room was freezing. I could not regulate my air conditioning all over. I was very pleased with the room the bathroom the facility was extremely clean and nice. Had a great time.

Property asked me several times what I was coming to celebrate then did nothing for my birthday. Also, the food is not the greatest. They will have things on the menu then not have it available. They also do not follow the room service menu & will give you something similar without asking

We really liked this property! When we first arrived we were greeted by Daphne , who made us aware of our upgrade. She then told us she’d be taking care of ALL of our needs, from booking dinner reservations to any issue we may have as well as any questions. She kept in contact with us daily and went above and beyond to make our stay feel wonderful. The hotel itself is beautiful!! We loved our swim out room. Clean, beautiful and great layout. Restaurants were very nice inside and the food was decent. We loved landshark All in all I rate this hotel 5/5, even though there is literally, no beach. I knew this going in, so I planned for that.

We thought it was a great resort. We stayed 5 nights and it was perfect. Would definitely return!

Overall good hotel. However, for an adult only hotel, the entertainment was lack luster. The place is a snooze fest after 6pm. Food was good. The staff were amazing. Our room was lovely, and the views from the rooms and main pool are spectacular

This property was amazing. Great food, entertainment and overall an amazing experience. Dafnie our ambassador was absolutely perfect. She was so attentive, caring and just a very kind person. If you get her as your ambassador you’re lucky.

The access road was horrific, but the rooms were nice. The food choices and flavors were awful. The steak house never had reservations available for an expensive all-inclusive resort. Quality steaks and seafood were not included, and they were expensive. You get better value and quality of food, as well as accommodation and food choices on a cruise. Don't waste your money at this resort. book a cruise!
