We had a wonderful stay at this property. The hotel is charming and historic. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the Zocalo. The staff is excellent, at check in, the bellman, housekeeping, the servers at the restaurant, just so attentive and friendly. We definitely appreciate such great service. The pool area is very nice with sufficient pool loungers. We ordered room service one night and our food arrived quickly. They helped us book a taxi for the airport. Everything went so well, we would love to return here in the future.

I liked the short walking distance to interesting places in the historic district. Food options were exceptional with many restaurants to choose from. Bed was very comfortable, since they were doing street repaving and infrastructure work we had no power and no AC, no electricity in our outlets to change electronics for a whole day.

Worse Hotel in a three week trip throughout Mexico! Veracruz was depressing! Upon arrival we were notified that the area had lost power, the hotel had a generator but only for light no AC, or way to charge electronics. Although it was not the hotels fault the old accommodations were already struggling. The room was damp from Humidity, the bathroom had mold and the walls were dripping with sweat.

The property is in a great location. Although the next hotel has music every night and very loud. Loved that the elevators where working and the ac in the rooms where the best. Pool needs cleaning and maintenance.

Very clean and a very comfortable mattress, excellent service all the way! The front desk, the restaurant, room service, etc... of course you are on downtown and there's live music on the Street, but they stop around 12:00 am, I will always come back! Downtown are old buildings, expect that also.
