Hotel Pelikan

Tout s’est très bien passé. Le personnel est tres aimable et gentil. Nous n’avons pas opté pour le tour en bateau. Mais le dîner et petit déjeuner étaient très bien. Bon rapport qualité prix

Simple hotel, good value for money and the staff are amazing

This is small hotel with a great location. The receptionist is a wonderful friendly woman who is willing to help you and answer any questions you may have. The breakfast which is included is delicious with several options to choose from. I would definitely stay there again.

Good location, very small room with not so pleasant smell due to humidity. Bathroom also very small, not much room for bags. Helpful staff.

Un premier contact assez rude avec le réceptionniste qui après s'être éclipsé avec notre voiture pour la garer, réapparaît visiblement irrité et agressif parce que nous avons reservé via hotels.com et notre tour via un opérateur indépendant, nous reprochant que ce sont des voleurs! Bonjour l'accueil! Après cette introduction lunaire tout est redevenu normal, y compris notre hôte, et le séjour a été très agréable. Mis a part la clim d'une des deux chambres en panne, (d'après le réceptionniste, toujours le même, on l'avait mal reglée! lol) les chambres étaient propres, les salles de bains convenables, c'était tout à fait suffisant. Le restaurant en revanche rien à redire, les plats étaient bons, pas très cher, on y a dîné et petit déjeuné. C'était très bien et le personnel de salle était très serviable et agréable. L'hôtel loue des kayak et organise des tours sur le lac si ça vous intéresse.

Hôtel très pratique lorsque vous souhaitez visiter le lac Skadar. Le parking est juste à côté, l’hôtel propose des excursions en bateau sur le lac pour voir les oiseaux. Nous en avons fait une de 3h tôt le matin et nous n’avons pas été déçu ! Un petit déjeuner typique Monténégrin nous a été servi au retour de l’excursion, c’était super. Globalement le personnel est très sympathique, les chambres sont très bien, très propres, un peu dans leur jus mais ça ne pose aucun soucis. Par contre les cloisons ont l’air d’être assez fines et pas très bien isolées pour le bruit (on entend notamment le train qui passe le soir). l’hôtel est idéalement situé à l’entrée de la ville, avec une petite épicerie juste en face, ce qui permet de faire pleins de chose à pied ou à vélo par la suite, voir de louer un kayak un peu plus loin et d’explorer le lac, sans avoir besoin de reprendre la voiture. Je pense que c’est un super hôtel si vous faite une étape pour visiter le lac Skadar. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

I WOULD NOT LIKE TO VISIT THIS HOTEL AGAIN! They are scammers! When it comes to the room and state of the hotel, everything is great and a very good price. BUT! The big problem is when you check in, and some of the staff does everything to make you take a boat tour on the lake. There is a man (I believe he must be the owner or manager) who is very intimidating and he promis alot of great thing you will do on the tour. You pay a VERY HIGH price for a totaly different tour and not what you pay for! The tour was a ridiculously high price compared to the other tour operators, that was closed when I arived. I regret i did not wait and asked other touroperators. I don't blame the man sailing the boat, because I believe the man at the hostel just keep most of the money for him self. I observed the next day after my boat trip, how awfull behaviour he showed to people arriving at the national park. He almost crawled in to peoples cars to get them to do a boat tour through there hotel tours. Very aggressive! I also overheard how uncomfortable he made other guest feel, when they were aggressively persuaded to do the expensive boat tour. I did confront the staff and by being very polite, I did get a free dinner at the hotels own restaurant. But they would not give me any of my money back. Some of the staffe was very nice to me, but i couldn't figure out if it was fake or what. But it was definitely that one manger/owner man, who destroyed the experience at Hotel Pelikan. Sad place!

Le gérant absolument insupportable : vieux beau qui voulait absolument nous vznsnrz une sortie en bateau avec une insistance extrêmement déplacée

Der Chef war sehr wütend, dass wir keine Bootsfahrt bei ihm gebucht hat. Er hat die Anbieter als illegal bezeichnet. Dann hat er von mir eine Bewertung gefordert und sie selber auf meinem Handy eingegeben. Ich musste noch selber 2 Sätze schreiben und er ist dabei stehen geblieben, bis sie abgeschickt war. Da wundert es mich nicht, dass Pelikan so eine gute Bewerbung hat. Das Frühstück war reichlich und es gab eine Auswahl bei Schinken und Käse.

Service is excellent at Pelikan, as well as the location of the hotel. The rooms are very simple and small, and therefore not very cozy. But if you prefer having accommodation with good access to services instead of beautiful interior, this is your place to stay.
