How to go to Agafay Luxury Camp from Airport

Arranging your hotel transfer from the airport to hotel is a crucial part of planning your trip. Here are a few options to consider for your transfer from Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) to Agafay Luxury Camp.

  • Taxi (Most Direct):

A taxi is the most straightforward option, taking you directly from the airport to Agafay Luxury Camp. Expect a journey of around 45-60 minutes, depending on traffic. Negotiate the fare beforehand, as meters aren't always used.
  • Private Transfer (Pre-booked Convenience):

Pre-booking a private transfer ensures a hassle-free experience. Your driver will meet you at the airport and take you directly to the camp in comfort. This is a good option if you prefer a fixed price and guaranteed service.
  • Ride Hailing (Potentially Cheaper):

Ride Hailing services are available in Marrakech. Check the app for availability and pricing, which can sometimes be more competitive than taxis. However, availability in the Agafay Desert area might be limited.

Tips:

For the most convenient route, pre-book a private transfer or arrange a taxi in advance. This ensures a smooth and stress-free journey, especially if you're arriving late at night or with a lot of luggage.

Really nice camp but still under construction in parts which takes away from it, I would go in a year or so, not now. Or it should be cheaper until construction is finished. They said heated pool, only one small one was heated out of the 3 and there is one restaurant, not 2 as advertised. My boyfriend also had an accident resulting in a few big deep cuts, they offered me 4 medium size plasters to attach a gauze pad, for this price a night they should take health and safety more seriously!!!! The food is a mixed bag, best salad ever at lunch but got the wrong main at dinner and it was dry with a small amount of meat for the price.

Amazing stay! Worth every penny!! Very remote location, no road to get to it please take their transferts as the roads are really bumpy for a taxi car. Very beautiful location, luxirous tents and amazing views. Activity are a decent price so is the restaurant. The resort was full booked and we still got plenty of space by the infinity pool ans restaurants. Breakfast is included, little extra if you want breakfast in bed, but much worth it for the view. Its a unique experience and a must see

I thoroughly enjoyed this part of our trip to Morocco, the desert was truly a highlight and the accommodations at Agafay Luxury camp was the perfect place to have a glamorous stay in the desert. The property was clean, the room and views from the room were beautiful and the best part of the stay. There are many activities offered at the property. The food options were all very delicious and we were pleased. However, I found staff at Agafay Luxury Desert to be very disappointing. For such a “luxurious” space and selling point, the service was everything but luxurious. No one offered us drinks by the pool, we waited to be served after placing simple drink orders for hours. We would sit down and be ignored, never asked about our satisfaction. We also observed the same lack of basic service skills to other CERTAIN guests. Who we ended up speaking to and learned that they’ve experienced the same poor service. Very unpleasent personalities at reception with condescending tones. I think the poor service really brings down the quality of a potentially great space. I enjoyed being in the desert nonetheless.

SCAM. Bad food and low quality liquor mixed drinks(order only beer/wine), poor waiter service, strict food service hours(no food btwn 10:30-2), pool side service terrible, incredibly annoying flies, very little English spoken, you have to pay for everything at that moment of the order(no room charges possible), all surrounded by mounds and mounds of dirt. Only potential beauty is sunset/sunrise, but no sleeping in as hammers begin at 8am working on the site. It’s a very non scenic 70min taxi ride one way. Not relaxing and completely overpriced considering.

Nice property. Well equipped for semi desert stay. Property is not in the Sahara but rather outskirts of Marrakesh. U do get a desert type experience. Camel rides were super nice especially during sunset.
