It's a beautiful setting for a hotel and the staff are all very friendly. The food is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the set menu in the restaurant on the Friday evening which was of a very high quality and very good value. We will come back again!

Excellent bed, super helpful staff, plentiful breakfast with everything you could want. I had a perfect stay. The only hope i would have is that they upgrade the bathrooms, which are basic, fine but not in line with the quality of everything else. PS: with my family we tested all roomtypes apart from the weddingsuite and they are equally comfortable, none suffer from noise as the acoustics are properly managed, you hear nothing (not from outside and not from other rooms; the beds are equally good in all rooms as well.

The Auberge is in a lovely location - at the edge of a large wood with many walking/jogging paths. It's tranquil, pretty, and very relaxing. It is a short walk to the university. The breakfast is very nice.The staff are friendly and helpful. My room was clean and quiet - I even had a small terrace with a place to sit outside.

A charming, small hotel with modern bathrooms. Very helpful staff and decent breakfast. Really serene locale overlooking the Amstel canal: boats, ducks etc. Minor issues: our minibar fridge did not work (they stored our bought food in their kitchen's fridge); not very strong light bulbs; a water kettle cord that did not reach the outlet, fraying carpet. But quite comfortable bed, modern bathroom, good room service, relatively spacious room (we were in the Deluxe), great views of the canal. All in all, we very much enjoyed the stay.

The beds were great and comfortable and the room quiet. There was a bathtub in my room and everything was very clean. The only issue I had was with the lady at the front desk. There were two of them and yet the one helping me had to pick up the phone WHILE helping me. That was annoying to say the least. I arrived around 9 PM and simply wanted to get to my room but the lady behind the desk interrupted my conversation with her to pick up the phone...
