Traveled for work in Den Bosch, stayed 5 nights, booked room for 3 even though was only 1 person because read somewhere that rooms are small. I don't know if room for 1 or for 3 are different in size, possibly same size with only different # of beds, but not sure. A little different from hotels I normally stay at. No iron / iron pad, when asked front desk if they have a service of ironing my shirt, the receptionist suggested that I'd give her the shirt and she'd iron it for me. Really nice gesture, but my shirt wasn't that desperately wrinkled so I didn't take her up on the offer. Breakfast is pretty good, menu does not change but basics are there. Very quiet place. My booking was for a room on the 2nd floor, there is no elevator so had to carry luggage upstairs. Front desk helped me talk to Taxi drivers because normally they don't speak English very well and I don't speak Dutch. Recommend taking a rental car, it'll be easier for you. Did not have time to survey local area that much, there's a small town center around 10 minutes away on foot. Overall enjoyed my stay and recommend the hotel.

I was really disappointed in the stay here. We queued to check in. There was no air conditioning and our room was swealteringly hot. Very poor nights sleep. The room wasn’t particularly clean and the beds weren’t great. There was a single window which opened onto the bunk beds which my children were sleeping in. They could have quite easily fallen from the top bunk out of the window which worried me all night. There was one small fan in the room. Please invest in larger fans.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Europe. 1. There was no hairdryer in the room – I had to go to the front desk to borrow one. 2. There was no room cleaning service at all. 3. The TV didn’t work, and the remote control was broken. I informed the staff, and they said someone would come fix it, but no one ever did – even by the time we checked out. 4. The customer service was nonexistent, and the staff had a very arrogant attitude. 5. The room facilities were old and poorly maintained. The upper bunk bed was clearly unsafe – it had no guardrail, and a child sleeping up there could easily fall off. In short, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was truly a terrible experience – as bad as it gets!

For the price this hotel was a bargain. Bed was comfy, looked like the hotel has recently had a bit of a facelift when it comes to the hotel rooms, so did look modern and fresh. Bathroom was basic but did the job. No bath, only a shower (which might put some people off), and the water temperature did fluctuate a bit having a shower in the morning. Good Wifi (not the fastest, but it is free and did the job). No AC, but fan was supplied in the room. Luckily the weather was not too hot so was ok in the room, but I think on a really hot summers' day this could cause a problem if you struggle to sleep in warm temperatures. For some the room might be a bit on the small size, stayed in similar priced hotel nearby and the room was a lot bigger, but was not as nice looking and hotel was very dated. Room had flat TV with all the standard TV channels, and HDMI input if you want to plug in your own external device. TV did come out from the wall a bit, and due to the small room did accidentally knock it when walking round the bed. You could also hear people walking past the room very easily (shame the doors did not sound proof that a bit more). They say you get what you pay for, but on this occasion I think it was an excellent place to be for the festival I was going to over the weekend, the price was excellent. I do plan to use this hotel again. The last thing to mention is there did not seem to be a lift to get to the first floor, so if this is a concern ask for a ground floor room.

We went to the area for the Hieronymous Bosch exhibition in 's Hertogonbosch. The hotel was a short bus ride from the city. We had a great time at the exhibition and enjoyed exploring the city and trying unusual places to eat. The hotel was friendly and comfortable, the only minor criticism I would have is that on check in and check out the receptionist was on the phone both times and took quite a while to acknowledge us. It seemed good value compared to other hotels in the region, but this was probably because it was not in the city.
