Hotel Het Witte Paard

Wifi is poor. Disconnects frequently. Most of the time you have to reconnect every few minutes. Headboards are wood slats with sharp edges. Can cut yourself easily if not careful.

Lovely hotel in centre of town. Room smallish but very modern, clean and well maintained. We will definitely use the hotel again. Lovely staff were very helpful.

Lovely family run hotel, clean, great location , super friendly staff.

Breakfast was excellent. Comfortable bed and clean room but quite cramped space wise with challenging plug points to locate. It would have been good had we been informed in advance that there was a Pop Festival taking place on two out of our three nights.

Great location, access to all shopping and restaurants

Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't open. Parking available in the Etten-Leur central garage. Room was clean and quiet.

WARNING - BEDBUGS - STAY AWAY. My spouse and I traveled to the area to see the flower parade in Zundert. We booked a room for one night at the hotel Het Witte Paard. However at 2am, we went to go to bed. Lifted a pillow and there was a bug. The internet told us it was likely a bed bug. Then, we lifted the sheet to check the mattress. Many more bugs ranging from nearly invisible to 2-3mm long. Around 2am they were starting to be active and crawling around the top of the bed. If we’d gone to sleep earlier, we would have missed them. We saw at least 10-15 in lifting up the sheet and checking the top of the mattress, but there were probably many more. DEFINITELY bed bugs. We also found some tiny dried blood stains on the sheets- must have been someone else’s blood because we had not been on the sheets. Gross. The variety in sizes of the bugs and the blood stains make it seem like this is not new. We ended up sleeping in our rental car because everywhere was booked for the festival and it was our best option at the time. Told the hotel staff in the morning and they apologized and offered us free breakfast, but at this point we didn’t want to be anywhere near the building. We considered demanding a refund but at this point the damage was done. The hotel staff said they’d be getting a new mattress for the room and cleaning it (room 11) but the level of infestation suggests this is a bigger issue. DO NOT STAY HERE

Excellent hotel to stay for Business

The English name for this hotel is The White Horse. Food and drink at this hotel is amazing - particularly the highly impressive wine selection which can also be bought to take home. Staff are excellent, very welcoming and also very knowledgeable about the food and the drink. One small criticism are the rooms. Quite small and the two single beds pushed together were different heights which was strange. That said, the fact the room was small didn't matter as you'll want to spend your time in the restaurant or bar anyway.

restaurant en facilities helemaal goed. Kamers zijn een beetje oubollig en niet up to date in tegenstelling tot het restaurant en breakfast, dat is helemaal goed!

Mooi hotel en makkelijk te bereiken via het openbaar vervoer. Aardig personeel en vriendelijk geholpen enige dingetje was de deur waar je in gaat als je in de nacht terugkomt die ging niet heel makkelijk open uiteindelijk was ie open maar toen waren er ook deuren dicht in het trappenhuis dat maakte het niet makkelijker maar uiteindelijk op m’n hotelkamer gekomen. Was weer een mooi avontuur. 😊😂 Nogmaals ga zo door mensen jullie vriendelijkheid is echt uitmuntend 😊

Wifi deed het 2 van de 3 dagen niet en parkeren is altijd een probleem, de rest in orde.

Hotelkamers zijn klein en uit de oude doos, maar daarom was de prijs ook niet te hoog, personeel en faciliteiten bar en diner top !

Leuk hotel, kleine kamer zonder ruimte voor bagage, wel goed voor 1 nacht. Vriendelijk personeel

Unterkunft war soweit ok, allerdings einiges im Bad defekt. Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen.

Correcte kamer, vriendelijke service, centraal gelegen maar slechts 3 parkeerplaatsen voor het hele hotel. Voor mensen uit het buitenland zoals ikzelf is het betalen van een parking in de buurt met visa of mastercard mission impossible in Nederland dus ook in Etten, niet handig.

Zeer slecht. Er was die avond een feest, recht onder onze kamer. We konden niet slapen omdat de muziek zeer hard stond. Pas om 01.00 uur was de muziek uit. De douche vertoonde schimmel plekken en de kamer bevatte veroudere elektronische fouten. De nachtlampjes zaten los en de ramen gingen moeilijk open. Wij gaan veel weekenden op hotel, altijd goed, maar dit was een ramp. Mijn vrouw heeft een paar maanden geleden een zwaar auto ongeluk gehad, en heeft behoefte aan rust en staat nog steeds onder dokters behandeling. Kortom, zeer slechte hotelaccommodatie, hygiënisch een ramp, en een zeer veroudere kamer. En een feest onder je kamer, dat kan absoluut niet. En geen verantwoordelijk personeel op die avond. We zijn er klaar mee.
